Nigeria: Diaspora Remittance Hits U.S.$35 Billion in 2016

Remittance from Nigerians living abroad to the economy has hit $35 billion in 2016, Senior Special Assistant to the president on Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa has said.
Nigeria: Diaspora Remittance Hits U.S.$35 Billion in 2016

If Nigeria itself openly admits to the huge sums of remittances flowing into the Country and this is confirmed by the World Bank

Then one wonders why others [with no evidence to the contrary] continue to deny it...?

Actually Nigeria admits that even more money arrives than the World Bank calculates

So the WB is quite conservative in its estimate

How many Nigerians live in Ireland anyway?

Nobody really knows...

The tragedy is without all the corruption then Nigeria would probably be the wealthiest place in Africa

Yet millions upon millions of its citizens are dirt poor

So where does all this money end up?

In the pockets of the filthy Rich I would imagine....

Another inconvenient question to be answered by the bleeding heart brigade.

There are more but I stopped at those above 10 Million dollars each

Clearly there is massive Fraud going on here that has been ignored for years

Our politicians just don't want to know

- though that might be about to change....
Well done great detective work, you've managed to uncover an open secret.

I'm all for trading with Nigeria - its good for them and its good for us

But what we are talking about here are remittances not Trade

Even if all these trade figures were incl it still would not account for it...
It so does equate
