The Hubs and Gateways thing?

Sorry if that sounds dismissive, but these reports are commissioned and nobody ever does a damn thing about them.
Successive governments have had years to plan our housing, water and roads infrastructure, schools, hospitals, etc.
They knew 20 years ago that we were headed to a massive population boom and did nothing to prepare for it.

Instead they blow money on vanity projects in their own constituency, support is horse-traded by self-serving politicians to developers and investors for a safe seat in the next GE.
15 years ago FF dropped 50m on Thornton Hall a site for a super-prison. It costs more to maintain annually than its actual current worth.

Since the Tallaght Strategy very little has happened in this corrupt kip that was truly in the 'national interest'.
100% agree. This is what happened they largely ignored the last national plan. We can only hope they don't repeat again, the same mistakes. We, as an electorate have to hold them to that.

How about the electorate hold the Régime to closing our borders and putting Irish people first.

They knew 20 years ago that we were headed for a massive population boom and did nothing to prepare for it, and act surprised at homelessness and overcrowded hospitals and schools.

Instead they blow money on vanity projects in their own constituency, support is horse-traded by self-serving politicians to developers and investors for a safe seat in the next GE. Instant gratification is what the public wants.

Too many cooks, they dont know how to plan without a strongman. Now that nationalism is a dirty word, we are run by those that take instruction from outside influences by default instead, foreign strongmen. The local politics of a td for every 25000~, people is fine in a vacuum/nationalist first state, but is a serious detriment to the natives in a internationalist/globalist run/influenced state.

But back to the 2040 plan and it's main point about location of housing, jobs and any requisite infrastructure to facilitate same, any thoughts?
Incorrect. This is not the "main point" of the 2040 plan.

Housing, jobs, infrastructure are all about and dependent on one thing and one thing only........people.

If there is only Irish ethnic growth for an Irish ethnic Ireland - then the growth is as it always has been - sustainable and manageable with timely natural increases and improvements according to need and wealth.

The 2040 plan however as has been proven to you emphasises a plan to artificially tamper with the population of Ireland both in character and size engineering a forced artificial intent to pump the population up to a globalist ethos inspired increase and composed of global ethnicities.

Hence the "main point" is not infrastructure - it is people and the plan to artificially make the population increase and change in character.
The infrastructure which Open-Border Extremists would like people to shift their focus to - is dependent on people/population, not the other way around as you state in your comment.

I believe you are mistaken but if that's the main issue for you, we'll agree to disagree.
