I'm not an expert on EU law but freedom of movement for any EU citizen was enshrined in the Maastricht Treaty 1992 and implemented in a 2004 directive that takes direct effect. I would have thought the EU Parliament would have no power to interfere with this? More evidence of a bizarre global coup.

In it she notes that the commission may already be starting to back down in the face of the revolt and legal challenges being lined up. Whatever happens, the card/passport will not be the magic wand that we have been assured it will be. Indeed, there is no magic wand other than lifting all restrictions and simply treating covid sufferers with the medications which have been shown to be effective.

This whole thing is like a very bad soap opera script, one Day "vaccine passports" are the ticket to "normality" the next day 14 day hotel quarantine even with a negative test result is needed due to "new variants" or even a whole new virus as Mehole Martin said
