Donald Trump and Barrack Obama are tied for 2019's most admired man in the US

President George W. Bush painted. President Jimmy Carter built houses for the homeless. President Barrack Obama will film a documentary series that will be piped into the homes of 125 million viewers globally. Call the show a more modern, ill-gotten fireside chat.

Here's what's notable: Obama, as president, defended the bottom line of the streaming service by supporting net neutrality for eight years. Now the streaming service is rewarding Obama with a sweet deal. Call it Netflix kickback.

The exact format of Obama programming remains under wraps. Whatever form it ultimately takes, the presidential show will appear alongside series about a depressed man-horse, female felons in orange jumpsuits, and adolescents fighting demogorgons.
From Wiki:
Penguin Random House was formed on July 1, 2013, upon the completion of a £2.4 billion transaction between Bertelsmann and Pearson to merge their respective trade publishing companies, Random House and Penguin Group. Bertelsmann and Pearson, the parent companies, owning 53% and 47%, respectively.

In July 2017, Pearson agreed to sell a 22% stake in the business to Bertelsmann, thereby retaining a 25% holding.

Quid Pro Quo

Same as Obama’s stance on net net-neutrality benefited Netflix, now Netflix hires Obamas to produce their “Higher Ground” shows to the tune of millions.
With Barrack and Michelle Obama signing book deals with Penguin Random House, for 65 million dollars in 2017, this makes one of the largest book deals in history. With former Vice President Joe Biden under scrutiny for Quid Pro Quo, let us not forget why Obama might be silent as a church mouse right now, He sold American Education to George Soros for an eventual book deal?

Penguin Random House is owned by Pearson Publishing. Pearson is one of the largest publishing companies in the world with an estimated 8 billion dollars in worldwide sales, half of that in America. Pearson was the company that was awarded the “Common Core” contract in the United States, Despite it’s failures in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Both aforementioned companies are owned by Bertelsmann, The German media conglomerate. Never guess who is one of the major investors in Bertelsmann? That’s right George Soros, who said ‘The World Needs Europe And Its Values.”

Few are more flattering of the Obama presidency than liberal writer Ta-Nehisi Coates. Almost everything that comes out of his pen and out of his mouth has been complimentary if not idolatrous. When that former president and first lady left the White House, Coates wrote breathlessly that the pair were “rising up from fear, smiling, waving, defying despair, defying history, defying gravity.”

The Coates compliments then, make the subsequent Coates criticism especially notable. Talking with Jamie Weinstein of National Review, Coates slammed Obama for making Wall Street speech money. “It’s bad to take however [large an] amount of money, $200,000, whatever it was, you know what I mean, to talk on Wall Street,” Coates said, “I just don’t think you have to do that.”

Coates is right: Obama has cashed out on his presidential legacy, monetizing hope and change. A single speech costs about $400,000 and, so far, he has given at least three to big Wall Street banks. An initial post-presidency public offering of sorts, that racket has made Obama a millionaire in less than a year.
...
No one should be surprised. Obama packed the White House with bankers, lobbyists, and executives from Wall Street. At one point, the Oval Office looked like the break room of Goldman Sachs, with White House chief of staff Rahm Emmanuel calling the shots. Now the old colleagues of his former employees are paying him to talk.

It’s not like Obama didn’t bend over backwards to help them. While the government meddled more in Wall Street after Obama signed the Dodd-Frank regulation into law, that didn’t hurt the big banks. They even said as much.
As retarded as we are, the American populace is worse, he sold out that country just like the rest of them, but no one is as blatant as the Democrates. Now that common core is in the education system they will be even more retarded, perfect for generations of traitor elites to continue to sell that place out.

Twin foreign policy crises greet Trump as election year dawns

President Donald Trump is suddenly faced on the first day of election year with hot foreign policy crises with Iran and North Korea that put American lives at risk and could weigh heavily on his own political prospects.

The US showdown with Iran rocketed to dangerous new levels after protestors burst into the US embassy compound in Iraq as US strikes on Tehran-backed militia forces killed 25 people.

Kim Jong Un meanwhile warned he would soon reveal a "new strategic weapon." If that is code for testing an intercontinental missile that could theoretically deliver a nuclear warhead to the US, his diplomatic "love affair" with Trump could soon dissolve in a dangerous new trans-Pacific standoff.

How impeachment works and why Trump is unlikely to be removed

No president has ever been removed as a direct result of impeachment. One, Richard Nixon, resigned before he could be removed. Two, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton, were impeached by the House but not convicted by the Senate.

Impeachment uncertainty clouds Trump's legal defense plans

Key questions remain unanswered about the Senate trial, including when it will begin, how long it will last or whether witnesses will be called, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi continues to hold off transmitting the two articles of impeachment passed by the House last month.

That has left Trump's team without a clear guide in their preparation efforts, which administration officials said proceeded apace at the White House even as Trump spent his days at the golf course or mingling with guests at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump was returning to Washington on Sunday evening after more than two weeks at his South Florida estate. While the Iran situation required Trump to attend regular briefings with his national security team, people close to the President said he also seemed focused on impeachment and the upcoming election year during conservations at his clubs.

Will war derail Trump's reelection?

Trump is eager to make good on his promises and remove many of the 14,000 U.S. troops in Afghanistan before Election Day. Yet such a move is not without risks. Given the strength of the Taliban, the casualties they are able to inflict, the inability of the Afghan army to hold territory, and the constant atrocities in the capital city of Kabul, a Saigon ’75 end to the Afghan war is not outside the realm of the possible.

Nor is a shooting war with Iran that rivets the nation’s attention.

Yesterday, U.S. F-15s, in five attacks, hit munitions depots and a command center of the Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah militia in Syria and Iraq, a retaliatory raid for a rocket attack on a U.S. training camp that killed an American contractor and wounded four U.S. soldiers.

Iran is a rogue state. It oppresses its own people and it brutally put down a popular revolt recently by its population, Its a theocracy.
It is the only country I know of to break into and hold hostage acredited diplomats during the Carter presidency and in doing so it interfered in the American presidential election. It got Reagan elected by make Carter look mute.

It looks like Trump is determined to keep battering Iran and keep imposing tougher sanctions until he brings down the government and
replaces that government. Whether that will work ot not, I don't know. Any ideas?
