How did you come to know Anne Lovett?

In 1984 5,116 children were born outside of marriage here or 8% of the total number of live births

- it wasn't exactly a Scandal anymore

But you lot would prefer to Kill them off before they are even born!

You would have told Anne to kill the Child within her

And you talk of Fear & Ignorance....

It's hard to believe the brutal and callous attitude of Partizan towards Ann Lovett and her child.

They've been a pathetic rump party since the split with Democratic Left.
The Sticky''s have been a pathetic rump party since finding from the Stalinist regimes of Eastern Europe ended with the fall of Communism. The Sticky''s even more rotten and corrupt than FF or FG or Labour.

The fall of the Soviet Union and the People's Democracies for all their massive faults and failings brought untold horrific day time nightmares to Eastern Europe, stuff you would not wish on your worst enemy.

The fall of the socialist governments in the East was a huge setback to many of us on the Left. Right now, we are seeing a fight back against the neo-liberal, globalist elite on the streets of Paris and Caracas.

Wasn't Eoghan Harris one of your lot? :) Seriously though, the fall of the USSR and the Warsaw Pact was inevitable as soon as Regan signed the oil directive.

He was, but he left when his attempt to take control of the Party hit the buffers. The 1992 split was a massive blessing in disguise which allowed the Party to go back to its Republican roots and build from the start. It has been a long, slow and difficult process but we are heading in the right direction. It's time to reclaim the Left from the counter revolutionary Trots and the revisionist Provos.

It would be interesting to see if some kind of unified Left could emerge. The main problem for the Left in ireland is fragmentation rather than votes. The voters don't generally think in terms of Trotskyites, Stalinists and revisionists.

One of the main requirements of Worker party activists anywhere in the world is not having a job.😆🍻

"Fuck work I don't want a fucking job!"

Why do you think Aontú has achieved more in a couple of month's existence than you have in 40 years?

The problem is that the term "Left" doesn't really mean anything. The term "Right" doesn't mean a lot either.

There were never any socialist governments in Eastern Europe. Red painted fascist dictatorships would be a more appropriate description.
The Kremlin's gauleiters were running the show and doing the dirty work for the Russian mafia.
