Erdogan might yet go all out against the Kurds.

God only knows what will happen then.
The U.S. has gotten in too deep with the Kurds and it seems they have built their own kleptocracy in Iraq's north. What infuriates me most is that the Kurdish region has been depopulated of Christians due to the negligence or actions of the authorities.

And they say Trump is dangerous

There is little I hate seeing more around Christmastime than video messages from American soldiers who are stationed in some far-flung backwater, looking forlorn and sometimes heartbroken and saying hello to family they haven't seen in moons and children they've never seen (or might never see, God forbid). And for what? For democracy and the American way? Most of those troops would much rather be home with their loved ones and out of harm's way, not LARPing as Captain America.

Democrats used to question every Cold War foreign adventure we engaged in and rightfully so. Nowadays they've thrown in their lot with chickenhawk neocons, because they have it in for Trump and because the payoff is lucrative.

Peace on earth and good will to men. Indeed.
