So whats the latest reasons for this downtime, nothing on twitter.

Im starting to not care anymore, if its not the deletion of our posts, the frequent downtime its the poor communication.

I may just not bother with the site anymore, like a drug I think I'm over the addiction.

Agreed, a chat room like here is probably more suitable for you, maybe sometime in the future you can advance to political debate and discussion.

Just simply being honest sir, this is chat room stuff and very much removed from tangient debate that gets to the core factor of really serious debate and the issues therein .

True. But if people stopped chatting there's always a danger that their minds will start working.

Chatting is empty in any political forum, issues, especially serious ones need to be addressed with serious debate rather than talk about some dopey daytime tv soap opera.

Let's be even more honest. Anyone that thinks what goes on in any forum is serious debate has a screw loose. Be it here, P.ie, facebook or anyplace else.
Talk about delusion.

And you think P.ie is better?

You will fit in perfectly if you take the mod job, delusion is a key factor I believe to be a mod over there.

Social media does have an effect on politics and other things. P.ie back in the day when it got mentions on MSM was having an influence. Politics is the most discussed subject on social media. All you have to do is google Social media effect on politics to get the answer. In here no, almost everything seems to be an argument not a debate.

Been like that since yesterday morning. There was talk about moving to a dedicated server and that it could take a few days but the wholesale deletion of posts prior to 2010 does seem to have been a very crude and simplistic approach to solving the database issues.
