Blog The Sanctions Thread.

A general catch all thread
for discussion of countries being sanctioned,
economically and otherwise.

There is far too much of this sort of economic bullying of weaker nations quietly going on in the background of international politics
and our shitstream media have no real interest in covering it too much as they themselves, more often than not,
are in ideological agreement with the "reasons" behind it.

This thread is intended to gather together some more information about all of these sanctions regimes being imposed

so people can gain a better understanding of the true nature of capitalism, war, international economic bullying,
and how their world really works in practice.

Please add any decent or informative links you are aware of that may be of interest,
especially if not already mentioned by other posters.

Collateral damage?

Israel has commanded the sanctions upon Iran and possibly soon it will become so that even companies who did deals with companies who did deals with Iranians will be sanctioned.

The big question is why cannot the rest of the world form a bloc to prevent this abuse? Is it the important role of the Anglo Americans in international finance? Whatever function, whatever indispensable the US controls can surely be copied outside the country.

I know Russia reacted to US sanctions by becoming more self reliant in all areas. I know some countries are removing gold from US and UK banks (why aren't the rest).

Lol. Today Moody's predicted that the British economy would contract by 10% over the next 12 months - the biggest fall of any country in the world. Bad debts to soar by 24%. Bumbling Boris will be begging Vlad for a few rubles worth of black bread and a drop of heating oil before this is out.

Of course the most atrocious and criminal sanctions are still being perpetrated against the DPRK, Cuba, Venezuela and Iran in an attempt to starve their women and children into submission.

The Brave British have the balls to sanction murderers, bullies and despots around the world - and the
usual suspects are not too happy.:D🇬🇧

The Iranians are committing terrorist acts in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon while under sanction.

Imagine if they were sanction-free??
