Why would Britain spy on Russia? The British armed forces are so depleted it would make sod all difference. If Russia wanted they could take out the UK tomorrow.

George Galloway had some Russian guy on TalkRadio earlier this evening and he said there's no way Putin would sanction a hit on these people in this way, in the current climate, with half the world already blaming Russia for every problem they see.

It makes sense when you think about it, but when you've been brainwashed into believing Putin is the new Hitler, you won't want to think about it.

I really don't give a tinker's damn if the F.S.B. did it, even though that's highly dubious. Considering what American and British diplomats/spooks/economists have subjected Ivan to since the fall of the Soviet Union, I'd daresay Russia's well within its rights to do it.

I've really had enough of our demonizing them and I so look forward to the day that we leave N.A.T.O. to lie in its own excrement.

Just watched this video of an interview with Putin and I instantly thought of this thread. Good interview but one part that sticks out towards the end around 1:25:55. Putin claims Trump wants to stop hostilities with Russia but is being prevented by "certain forces

Some interesting paper headlines today from the UK, thanks to @smurftool for posting them.

If you notice the UK press have bee briefed, the agenda is to dehumanise Russia and make them the public enemy.

There are two things going on here,

May is delighted that the attention and focus have shifted away from Brexit, this is now her attempt to give the impression she is a strong world leader, to her party, the country and to the EU.

Russia has been a thorn in the side of the UK for a long time, be it sending ships and planes into UK territory or Russian spies playing games on UK territory.

The danger we are now in is that the UK will ever have to climb down and look like fools or they will have to take action, May is banking on the latter and is hoping that Russia will just accept whatever action the UK dishes out, the problem here is that the UK is not the USA and Russia does not fear the UK in anyway at all.

Unknown to the public will be some type of low warfare war, It will concern the UK and Russia later this week, followed by the US-Russia-Syria later on.

Theresa May will impose "rogue state" sanctions on Russia tomorrow, harshest sanctions ever to be imposed on Russia. GCHQ will cyber bomb Russia on a scale that has never been seen before. Oligarch assets in the UK will be frozen, VISA'S revoked (for those close to Putin). UK version of the Magnitsky act will be implemented.

Everything will depend on Syria, activity will reach a very dangerous breaking point in Syria, it will all depend on Trump does next.

You wouldn't get 100 joining up to fight in some Euro army these days, Hans.

Unless it was on an Xbox.
It might not even be a third of that as the male population between 18-35 which is the ideal fighting age has been diluted to soy boys and beta male cucks who would be totally unsuitable for warfare.

Many people go to Britain to join up in their terrorist army. They do it to go get paid and perhaps pay for skills.

If a Euro Army offered duh right benefits, it would take recruits from here.

That said, I don't see it ever being fully actualised. The EU is in horrible shape and the only reason this has had the head of steam that it does is because Trump's America is hogging NATO. It's expensive to furnish hardware for your own nation, for NATO and this Euro Army. And without America coughing up as much, it's not the tasty a war profiteering venture that it was.

That's what all these "defence pacts" are; war profiteering excercises. They are not supposed to actually fight in proximity against big power states and they are wrongly calibrated based on exaggerated threat perceptions on a number of levels. In short, you're not going to get a redux of WW2.

May to hold special commons announcement on Russia at 12.30 today, 14th March 2018.

This could be the first strike by the UK government on Russia with harsh sanctions supported by the US.

If May backs down then she will face a political leadership challenge by the end of next week.
