Blog The Julian Assange thread

Journalist Julian Assange has finished his sentence for skipping bail
yet is still being kept in prison awaiting an extradition order to the US.

The west lectures China on it's human rights yet in the case of Julian Assange we have indefinite detention without charge.
First in the embassy for 7 years. Then again after his sentence on a minor charge has been completed in a british prison.

Assange has done us all a great public service by shining a spotlight on the activities of those in power.
We should support him. If Trump had any balls he'd drop the extradition order!

edit: Stupid wanker didn't do so of course!
He thought it more important to free some blackwater murderers,
and gun totin rappers instead

Yes, they can't forgive him for exposing Crooked Hillary.

Talk about shooting the messenger!!

Meanwhile "Epstein express" frequent flier Bill and Crooked Hillary both continue to live out their lives of luxury and privilege
walking about freely while Julian Assange rots in prison and Seth Rich (and Epstein!) rots in the ground.

No sign of Amnesty International yet. Maybe if Assange was gay, Gorman might get the finger out

Excellent thread.

I wholeheartedly agree that each of us who value democracy owe a huge debt of gratitude to JA, and Edward Snowden for that matter
