They committed treason when they accepted the Anglo Irish treaty . They swore an oath to the 32 counties of Ireland not 26. There was only a mandate for 32 counties and not 26. There was no vote by the people on the treaty. there was a vote in 1918 and the mandate was there for a 32 county all Ireland.
The oath was to establish a Republic, where did it mention 32 counties? The Civil War was over having to make an oath of allegiance to the King of Great Britain, more than it was about partition.

This is sort of a complicated issue but you're making perfect sense. We have to work with, and seek to preserve, what we have now. Sorry.

Fuck it, I'll post the JB video again, no matter what anyone says (particularly the phony nationalists like Thelasthurrah) this is eminent sense

The 1918 election was an exclusively UK and not an Irish election.
The Ulster Unionist MPs did not mandate a 32 county all Ireland.
The 1921 election was an exclusively Irish election and it returned 2/3 in favour of the treaty.
According to you then 2/3 of the electorate in the 26 counties were traitors.

That is the way you think and you still look down your nose at the vast majority of Irish people living in the 26 counties.
You are not therefore an Irish patriot

With people like you about the chances of a unified island recede very rapidly.

There was no election held in the 26 counties in 1921.
Dail members were all returned unopposed so no vote was necessary.
The Treaty was signed AFTER that.
The Irish people did not vote on the Treaty, it was a Dail debate and a very narrow victory.

We are fighting a very different beast now. It may well have been present during the time period you refer to but not mentioned.

Many people are now being drawn to a nationalist cause who would have had no interest in it down the decades. It is a cause not primarily based on retrieving the six counties into an existing Irish Free State but a movement of peoples in the 26 counties and the 6 counties jointly fighting the influence of an occult foreign invader and its footsoldiers.

Let’s create a new Irish federation between the 26 and the 6 counties.
I am averse to a united Ireland but fully support a Federal Ireland.

Now up your hole Mr Verhofstadt,!
