The West Brit element in Ireland love mass immigration because they always want a way to dissolve the power of the Native Gael in Ireland. The West Brits have an actual political motivation for promoting mass immigration. Except for Alan Shatter, of course, who has his own distinct tribal hatred to indulge in.

The next group are the trendy lefties like the Trots and Adamsite Sinn Féin. Like the Labour Party in England, they see the only way they can ever get elected is by changing the population of Ireland. They hope that by encouraging mass immigration and shouting down (and even beating down) any Native Irish person who objects to the invasion and plantation of Ireland, and the immigrants will be forever grateful to them.

The next group of mass immigration mongers are the cheap employers - like Michael O'Leary, and the landlords \ landowners. Cheap labour who will shove up rent and the price of land is a boon to this criminal element. They are mostly apolitical. They only care about easy money.

The next group is a group that has always hated Ireland because they think Irish society repressed them sexuality. Of course this group includes homosexuals, but also those who blame their lack of sexual success on the fact that Irish women tend not to be indiscriminate sluts. Let's be honest, many of our Irish men see Eastern European women as easy game (whether that's actually true or not). Then the homosexual element is very taken with the manly young Arabs.

These groups are greatly over represented on forums like politics.ie, where patriotic Irish people are not welcome.

Surely the people of Ireland can see the spectacular f-up that mass immigration is bringing to Sweden, Germany, France, and to a slightly lesser extent the UK.

Isn't there a lesson to be learned?

I just can't get my head around how Irish people can (reasonably) keep banging on about the injustice of being colonised by the Brits for centuries and yet somehow welcome the new colonisation thats taking place today.

There seems to be an attitude that "okay we are being colonised but its not by the Brits" which makes it okay.

Its almost like being colonised by non-Brits is somehow an arseways Irish way of giving two fingers to the Brits.

Makes no sense.

Media is to blame, if the Invasion thread was read out on RTE news every night then most Irish would be demanding we close our border with immediate effect

But instead of the truth they show a child bleeding in Allepo and the plight of this poor child......

The sad fact is that some people in Sweden, Germany and France have become multimillionaires out of mass immigration, and likewise there are Irish millionaires who made their money out of immigrant accommodation and running businesses that pay minimum wage and under. This element have the ear of the politicians.

I guess it has always been so or at least certainly so in recent times. The ruling classes decide the agenda and the narrative and the peasants go along with it.

Thank God for the internet which democratises the provision of information, we no longer have the single narrative of the ruling classes, all viewpoints and analysis's are made available to all.

Ironically Ireland has been fairly neutral with immigrants here.

Whilst the numbers have been high those who have come have generally been well behaved. For some reason we are not having the same problems as those in Europe.

Once we start receiving refugees anmass then it may change.

I think you have nailed down exactly the Irish mentality of those on the left. The libtards can be found and matched with those groups you mentioned.

Exactly, from talking to the average Joe out there, I think most have absolutely no idea what is going on.

Globalists don't think like you and I. They live in a different world. The most powerful of them can cause a street to close, a store to close, while he or she shops there. Thus briefly imposing their world upon ours and. You and I cannot impose our world upon theirs unless by mass primitive means. Large gatherings at protests and riots. Both worlds briefly collide the mess is cleaned up and both worlds continue to coexist. Of course the world we live in was primarily shaped by rich powerful people. Not the mob. The social engineering is very evident now. Whereas it was subtle and protracted.

The New Left types are useful in demolishing the country, ideologically, morally, spiritually. Just as Auschwitz drives the cosmic rage of the continental New Left, in Ireland the abuse scandals gives the New Left here its urge to destroy.

Once destroyed, the globalist-oligarchy then moves in to set up a consumption-state where being "nice" is mandated by force of law and engaging in consumption is the pivot of national life. Any patriotism is removed from the mainstream and strictly compartmentalised into sport. If you're a patriot outside of those boundaries you are regarded somehow suspect and unreasoned.

Mass immigration is a way of subduing the majority and it acts as a lubricant to usher Ireland into being a branded piece in the globalist jigsaw.

And we see that with this Egyptian militant out in an Egyptian dungeon. If Ireland is nothing more than a brand, then it's an unremarkable matter to "rebrand" this Egyptian fellow as a Dubliner. It's normal marketing challenge easily resolved. So we have Official Ireland types take this view perfectly sincerely and without flinching.

If on the otherhand, you grasp Ireland as a nation, as a community with a unique inheritance and history, then that Egyptian Islamist being as Irish as Brian Boru is a fabulous and breathtaking affront to basic reality.

These are the kind of competing visions that are at play here.
