Ireland would have been under the Nazis the same way that other neutral countries such as Norway and the Netherlands were and for the same reason ie that Nazi security against attack mandated its occupation.
Occupy Ireland and the last potential launch base of an attack by the US would have been removed. No brainer.
And again, neutral Eire had no strategic importance for the Germans if as you say Britain vanished. Norway and Holland quite clearly did.
There'd simply be absolutely no point in invading the Free State of Ireland. Zero. Zilch. I can't think of a single reason why they would waste one bullet in doing so.
