I am only familiar with the wind farm industry and all of them are losing ,money and can never repay their capital cost within the lifetime of the plant. In that case the wind farms are only a vehicle for launching derivatives. In fact Eddie O'Connor said that ban objection to an off shore wind farm prevented him entering a derivative contract with cost his dearly. It could be that all companies are nothing more than vehicles for trading their stocks. Could they all be just Ponzi schemes?
My figures suggest the whole thing should have collapsed last year, but its still going strong. Wierd
