"..10% or less of the cases in #China are being detected, 25% outside China.
Really around 50K new cases per day in China, doubling every five days.
Wuhan will peak in a month, rest of China 1-2 months later. Then rest of world...."

Interesting group, we should definitely find ways to be prepared if this hits Ireland in a major way.
I think its worth considering.

A lot of stuff has already been grabbed by people from elsewhere.

Just trying to get a N95 mask is almost impossible, certainly at a decent price!

I reckon part of the problem is that we don't usually experience outbreaks such as this, so we are wholly unprepared if it strikes Ireland on a major scale.

Deffo,

We should all have emergency kits just in case.

Even if nothing happens with this virus, its good to have a prepared action plan and kit just in case.

I also think things are bad and governments know this.

The videos coming out of China are soul-destroying and there is no way the would do all this for a few hundred people who died from the flu when the real flu virus kills 60,000 people in the US each year. China must be much higher with the size of their population.

There is obviously something more going on here, certainly something big enough to panic the Chinese and to put all countries on alert.

Some of the videos on twitter concerning the virus on twitter are certainly disturbing and disheartening.

Look at this video, the US authorities are not taking chances. They know there is something going on.
