So far we've had:

Abigail
Barney
Clodagh
Desmond
Eva
Frank
Gertrude
Henry
Imogen

Next is:
Jake
Katie
Lawrence
Mary
Nigel
Orla
Phil
Rhonda
Steve
Tegan
Vernon
Wendy

Can we stop this dramatic nonsense of naming normal winter weather as 'storms', when its just a bit windy?

How can you dismiss Imogen so easily, she hasnt really got here yet!

Seriously though, it seems we get a storm once a week these days.

I cant wait until they run out of names and have to resort to different things!

Once a week? It feels like several per day

Seems we are going to have more of these storms.

The various names and coded warnings are helpful to those who have to travel or otherwise cope with them.

Plenty more names available.

Very English these names, Nigel, Lawrence, steve etc.

How about Abdul, Mohammed, Paddy, or Jimmy!

They should have named them after politicians.
