Blog Speculation on the Origins of CoV 19

A thread to discuss the various theories on the possible origins of the virus.

Nobody knows for sure exactly what happened here so there is room for some speculation. Both scientific and political.

The official story is that it jumped from a bat coronavirus reservoir animal (a Bat) to an as yet unconfirmed secondary vector animal, possibly a reptile such as a snake or a pangolin, and from there to humans complete with remarkably good human to human transmission characteristics.

Some say it was accidentally released from a chinese lab doing AIDS / coronavirus research or dual use military/medical research

Others say it originated in Ft Dietrick in the US and was released during the Wuhan world military games in late 2019 to screw up the Chinese
as a clumsy move in the ongoing trade war.

Still others blame it on big pharma movers and shakers with key patents in their names for the purposes of profit through a form of disaster capitalism.

I saw this last weekend and haven't watched any follow up videos, this is very good though, shows the wet market was not the source of the outbreak, and looks at the history of the bio lab in Wuhan, it seems they have been producing scientific papers on corona viruses the last few years. According to this there is a possibility that the corona virus naturally found in bats could not have made the species jump to humans without some genetic modification and for that they spliced the virus with proteins from SARS that are known to bond with human cells.

China deserves anything bad that it gets, they were warned many many times that their sadistic abuse of animals was a potential source for disease and they did nothing. They spent the 90s rounding up practitioners of a form of Yoga as a threat to the state (many of them ended up being dismembered and served up themselves) and go beyond toleration (endorsement) of abusers of wildlife (the high end TCM consumers in China are the well heeled). They were hoping to use their Eurasian transportation revolution as a conveyor belt to spread the belief in consuming wild animals all over the continent. Consider that their doctors prescribe bear bile for Coronavirus. I think they will never change, too much superstition and selfishness, they have been inward looking for thousands of years and convinced of their 'superiority'.

Indeed. And remember that when the hardwares reopen that most ironmongery is Chinese so choose carefully or try buying ABC. Likewise if Ikea opens practically all of their furniture is made in China too. Look at labels.

Its clear that 5G has nothing to do with spreading the corona virus, however given the utter duplicity of China, how do we know it wont be spreading electronic viruses and trojans? Imagine entrusting your electronic communications and security to these people.

I do agree that animal abuse is common in the US (factory farming in particular) and that this is driven by extreme capitalism as it is now driven in China. Unfortunately i predict little change anywhere. If anything the modern world has made life immeasurably worse for animals, in medieval times the domesticated animals were able to roam around had a longer span of life this way.

The Coronavirus has suddenly made a compelling case for animal welfare, we must seize this chance (although doubtless there are others who come to the opposite conclusion ie that we should exterminate all wildlife). Perhaps we should be worried about places like Brazil where the people there have turned on nature and are venturing deeper into the forests but perhaps in Brazil they don't want to handle, eat, cage the exotic animals as much as they do in places like China and Indonesia so the risk is lessened that way, they just want to torch it.

That's not controversial. Labs around the world have been culturing these viruses to study them. They say that a gallon of Anthrax would wipe out all life on earth, and yet labs all around the world are culturing Anthrax. Blaming China for what happened here is willfully missing the point. The point is that all of humanity has seriously lost its way.

They say that a gallon of Anthrax would wipe out all life on earth, and yet labs all around the world are culturing Anthrax. Blaming China for what happened here is willfully missing the point. The point is that all of humanity has seriously lost its way.

Do you mean Ricin, which can be in liquid form? there is a valid reason for studying and cultivating Anthrax though, it naturally inhabits the soil and infects livestock and is transmitted through spores.

And cornaviruses are studied for similar reasons.

The problem comes when we start creating gain of function chimera viruses in labs to study what mutations will be problematic.
This research is worrying and might become self fulfilling prophesy.
