The design argument is creationism in a dress suit. It is also largely explained by convergence in the form/function space. A good example is the modern passenger jet. Designed less by engineers than by thw wind tunnel, they have converged into largely identical shapes. No contradiction whatsoever. Natural processes, physics, chemistry, biology, random mutation. Combined with long durations create order.
I posted a video where a virtual creature can, without any external design, evolve to travel many metres in a specified direction. There are more complex examples of virtual evolution creating creatures that can do more complex things.
No design. Just forces that are natural and at work around us:
Survival of the fittest
What is funny to watch is the way you claim “God” is the best explanation. But while there is agreement on the single evolutionary model, you creationist types can’t even agree if there is one god or many.
You are spouting only your favoured creationist theory, when other creationist believers have more “gods” or different “gods”.
Creationism is a trainwreck as far as explanatory theories go.
Intelligent only if we define intelligence in purely human terms. Intelligence (please define it, but for the moment I'll assume the rather vernacular understanding of it) comes with a high cost to our species in biological terms. It requires vast resources to pass on the biological resource of a large brain. Non simply food, but also risk to life of mother and child in the birth process and an extended period of care, feeding and support.Go on, explain....
Why are humans the only intelligent species? Why didnt elephants evolve into a super intelligent species and start building houses and driving around in cars?
