We passed on knowledge through future generations through teaching and learningWe adapted that way, the smarter we got ,the more successful we became at passing on our DNA.
There is no consensus on how hereditary intelligence is but many facets of intelligence like articulation and communication may be.
There is lots of natural evidence, plus recent evolutionary data, some of which has Been mentioned on this thread.Disagree
- there is no empirical model that can be currently observed in operation right now
There is the historical record & the current observations of different species & sub species
We assume that they all [incl. us] have a common ancestor/s
Is that Pizz Take? There is lots of natural evidence, plus recent evolutionary data, some of which has Been mentioned on this thread.
For a different take, look how “creatures” can evolve naturally to produce some amazing results, just through the application of basic Darwinian features. This series is fascinating and compelling modelled evidence for evolution.
Evolution is occuring all the time when evolutionary pressures are there. So what evolution has been observed in species since the time of Darwin?
Errr, yes it does. At least, it has because intelligence in humans provided an advantage in survival at the margin. And, again, at the margin, Humana with above average intelligence had a tendency to give issue to a slightly higher proportion of children with above average intelligence.
