Presumably they would say that they are showing leadership by displaying what An Taoiseach said on the RTE News this evening "an abundance of caution"
He's such a Dufus.

Donnelly definitely has something alright. Mad Cow disease maybe? -

Was Leo standing very, very close behind him?

Here, have a laugh at this -

He's even robbing from Churchill's Battle of Britain speech. It is the 80th anniversary of Der AdlerAngriff.

And rehashing worn out cliches like 'staying apart to come come together' and 'inittogether'.

Nobody wants to hear that stuff from March 2020 again.

This is rock bottom from Varadkar.

Yes - a deliberate piss take of the natives.

And 'lest we forget' - here's what those we owe so much got up to -

If he was so sincere ( and Covid so serious) he would have said to those Italian rugby fans "look lads, don't come. I'll throw in a couple of million and reimburse your flight and hotels".
But he didn't. And neither did the airline companies. Nor the hoteliers.
That's how serious THEY (not us) took the China virus.

Varadkar is like a bad actor. This speech is a joke. Is it supposed to be inspiring or to instill fear into people again?

'Staying Apart'.. thats like so April 2020.

Nobody gives a shit about that anymore.

His contempt for us knows no depths.

But but, free travel across the Euro zone is an integral and non negotiable aspect of the European Union.
Remember that one?

Plastic Donohoe said 'How would we feel if Italy banned travel from Ireland'.

How did this Mister Bean character end up as head of the EU Finance Group.

Fuck that looks so like whats called the soyface or the soy smile and many another word used to describe, what is the context, funny stuff.

In reality it looks like the fear grimace, something primates do to display their subservience and impotence while trying to pretend they are themselves happy with what is going on.
