Things like the magdeline laundries was the state pushing responsibility for problems the state created in the first place, seeing as its meant to be the system to direct society, onto someone else. And as long as it can blame someone else for the outcomes, just like it can blame the EU for things that are wrong in irish society as its out of their hands, they are happy to push whatever narrative works for them. Obfuscation and the blame game.

If its a case of these children being a burden on the tax payer otherwise, then this is a eugenic program we are talking about, which is what abortion has generally been about from what i can tell regards history of the subject. Ireland is no different to this if so.

Sure, but you can't put a specific date or age of that
Pregnancy is very traumatic on womens bodies can cause all kinds of complications as it goes along
There are millions of reasons why the mother might have to save her own life rather than continue with it
Desperately sadly as it is
You just implied aborting any time is fine, what about post birth abortions, are they also fine?

Pregnancy is not very traumatic, seen it first hand, it’s usually a period when women are high as kites on happyness and often look their best without makeup.

There is not millions of reasons for saving the mothers life via abortion, none have ever been required in Ireland.

Obviously the horse hasn't had the joy of having kids.
If people don't want kids there are very well developed contraception methods both men and women can use.
A bit of personal responsibility would do no harm.
Also, if the taxpayer wasn't footing the bill for their 'mistakes' they might be more careful...

800 'terminations' a month was the estimate on RTE News yesterday morning.

800 x 12 = 9,600

+ IIRC a certain number are still travelling to UK for abortions

So over 10,000 human lives snuffed out each year.

This is NOT good Folks!:(

How much does each termination cost the taxpayer?

seriously, is your IQ even 1 ??

a dozen women a year still die in the UK because of complications, nothing, even abortion can prevent this,, abortion to save the mothers life was common place in Ireland , the Savita medical negligence case was used by the abortion butchers like Harris and Vlad, the mental health scam didn't work so the Savita medical negligence case was exploited by Kitty Holland (worst journalist in Europe) , she had TWO abortions, her father is Eamon McCann the socialist idiot from Derry (she hides that) and the left LIE , LIE and LIE to us every day,,

I am still waiting for an abortionist Party to call on my door, I will tell them to FOOK RIGHT OFF,,, they stand for murder and death,,

NEVER will I vote for any of these scum in my life,,
Killy Holland I call that wench.
There is a story in the very early days of Savita death. The hospital were panicking. They knew they fucked up big time. Missed 4 red flags for sepsis on 13 occasions. It was a trainee mid-wife who eventually raised the alarm. They knew they would look like a third world outfit if all this came out. But guess what, some bright spark in the hospital noticed Savita asked for an abortion during her time there, yippee - that was their get out of jail card. Phone call to compliant pro-abortion 'journalist' who works for pro abortion pro big pharma rag and hey presto - you have a story that goes all over the world about backward catholic Ireland that kills women and hardly a word about the mind boggling negligence by all those (bar the trainee midwife) at Galway Hospital.
The people responsible for this Orwellian spin should be shot with the balls of their own shite.

In Britain about a quarter of pregnancies end in abortion each year, last year there were over 200,000. So if we equate those figures to Ireland then there'll be around 15,000.
