Hermann was nobbled by the Unions and RTE

It was not a level playing field

But you have to start somewhere....
I have to disagree. I saw him on irish TV and he did very well. He got far far more coverage and nothing like the ridicule as Gemma.
The geography of a Derry accent running in Dublin, must have impacted imho. At least Gilroy was close

He did indeed do very well - he is TV material

That's why RTE blocked him

At least he doesn't put on a fake 'Dublin' accent like Clare Daly does.

Gemma ain't gonna change.
Sorry. I don't know the writing here is so pale and small. I meant people are not worried.

In the end of the day, the Irish are not going to follow a Farage like character. They don't want accountability in politics
civil government or anything else. They want nice socialism because they feel they are worth it,. There is so much corruption
and so little concern. As Dan said, an economic collapse will help or the collapse of the EU. Maybe

They will legalize the dope now and that will make a good job of them.

Well we know that. She had imo, 8000 votes citywide so maybe , depending on which constituency, she has 1300 to 1500 votes. That is a good foundation. A Gemma voter is not in general going to stray.
She needs to continue what she is doing.

"there's a very good chance she could get elected as a TD"

My reply is how that is not likely.
You say she most probably has a starting base in one constituency of 1300 to 1500 votes and that that is a good foundation.
My comment showed how this is also most likely not the case as of yet. So no I don't think people do know what I am saying.

She has a ton of door knocking and pavement pounding and local work, help, events to hold to build a solid base in her local area.
The Irish vote for local gombeens who they know, her own area is sown up with est gombeens.
The only other thing that will work in her favour is the increasing deterioration of Irish lives through mass-immigration and corruption.
Things should get worse though there may be periods of spiked improvement between now and next GE, which will keep Irish voting for suicide.
But the overall longer term trend is destruction. So no, people do not know it including nationalists which bodes disastrously for Irish self-preservation.

There js no vote for the right. The Irish don't have the intelligence to know what is coming at them. Even with a an ideal candidate, its not going to happen

every irish person should spend a week in the wrong parts of France or England. That should learn them pretty fast.

Daly has a 'Dublin' accent?
