The reason why they pay a wooden, talentless plank like D'arcy 400,000 big ones is to normalise standards of excess and corruption across this entire society.

If they can gaslight the Irishman into thinking D'arcy is "entertaining" they can then con people into thinking a toxic freak like Varadkar is "competent".

That's why the last institution they'll allow to fall is RTE and that's why they'll never do anything other than burn through warehouses of cash to keep 'em propped up
.

RTE is their magic cloak that keeps the regime safe.

D'Arcy is awful and wouldn't succeed outside of an island where the law is used to impose such a talentless freak show on the populace.
I worked in their offices and ate in their restaurant but I'm enjoying watching RTE implode. It's a basket case of nepotism and inside dealing. What's now needed is a good ol' strike.

RTE are losing the advertising revenue to online media. That's brilliant news, as it means less People consuming RTE Propaganda.

The Taxpayer will be asked to prop up RTE though through FFG's Device Tax. So you'll have to pay for the excrement dished up by Joe Duffy, Ray D'Arcy and Ryan Tubridy whether you watch RTE or not.

RTE being propped up by the state / taxpayer means they will have even more of a duty to parrot regime propaganda than when they enjoyed a bigger share of the advertising market. They won't be able to take any kind of independent line, not that they were doing that before. RTE have hardly ever asked questions about regime asylum policy for example, or why they agreed to take that latest boatload of African migrants.

FF also want to prop up the failing mainstream print media with our money.

The goal here is clear. FFG need those failing traditional media outlets to be their propaganda organs, and we will be asked to pay for it.

Tubs sniveling little tetchy remarks at Casey during the presidential election was laughable , especially as RTE were deliberately HIDING AND LYING that Casey was only on 1% of the vote at the time ,, despite the REALITY they must have known he was easily on 20% Plus,, the Fake News out of RTE that night was all about getting that fooking little moron Higgins in , yet again,
That was a classic example of why RTE deserve to go under. Totally unprofessional and biased conduct from regime stooge Tubridy.

The attempt to have the tinkers ambush Casey live on air backfired spectacularly on Tubridy/RTE, as the bussed-in tinkers rounded on them instead and started barracking Tubridy about how RTE wouldn't let some of them in.

Tubridy became unnerved by this and lashed out at Casey in response, actually threatening him with physical harm. To his credit, Peter Casey remained professional, good-humoured and dignified, as Tubridy descended into unprofessionalism.

The plan was that the tinkers were supposed to attack Casey, to loud cheers from a bovine LLS audience, but instead they were attacking RTE and Tubridy!

Things went completely off script for the RTE mandarins that night and Tubridy became unprofessional as a result.

“If Ryan Tubridy thinks the Late Late from London was a ‘massive success’ he needs a brain check.”

Tubridy's recent portrayal of himself as a hero for saving a baby was off the cringeometer. Maybe it was true, maybe it wasn't, but nobody brought it up except himself.

Guest Journos get 50 quid on NooseTalk.
I wouldn't say NO to €50 an hour for talking BS.NooseTalk sports programs are very poor and the payment at €50 apop is too much. Some of the conversations border on puerile, primary school talk and is very poor quality. The obsession with Golf ,Rugger is too much and the same panelists all the time add nothing. One hears the same narrow opinion all the time and everyone has a shelf life and 2 years is maximum time for "experts opinion". Fresh ideas new fresh blood and this is what keeps the public onside.Pat Spillane has left the game more than 30 years and his perspective is " not really relevant to the game of the 21st Century". rte has always been the regimes propaganda arm, there's an unwritten rule in irish politics that everyone gets a turn so nobody has ever called it out, ff fg lab have all benefited from the stooge that is rte and sf will get their turn as well, rte has probably been one of the single most important forces that has kept this country down over the decades. same applies to the OPW, wastes taxpayers money like a drunk in a brewery but again because all politicans will get their turn for their local pet projects, nobody has ever blown the whistle.

rte has attacked the irish right at every opportunity, one of the NP's planks should be the dismantling of rte wholesale, let all the virtue signalers try and find a real job that pays for an actual days work. There is a serious amount of people in rte, that require some time in the real world and lets see if they have the same opinion of what the irish people are willing to put up with.

when the whole country has been shown over and over , it is time to change the scenery. As food programmes they are the cheapest to make and all the "planning/thinking " is done by the "expert cooking". There are numerous cookbooks out there so all the "chef" has to do is work with the ingredients in the recipe. What could be easier and cheaper.Personally ,I never watch DIY,Cookery,Building programmes,it's just opium for the "brain dead".
