There's nothing mysterious about it: penis goes in, sprog comes out. Simple.
That made me laugh out loud  :)

I agree that this place can do without some of these types of threads though, and some of the other weird, orifice-related, juvenile ones too.

Well this is a strange thread, trying to understand the political angle of it!

Oral sex has been linked to cancer and other STD`s.

Is it worth it, or are the risks to dangerous and its best avoided?

How do you honestly get a woman who hates oral sex to give it in the first place?

(Letter to agony aunt in The Kerryman).

Dear Deidre,

Please excuse the spelling as I am dyslexic.

We have been married for 5 years and it seems our sex life is getting a bit boring -according to my husband anyway. He has asked me if I wanted  to try Alan but I don't know anyone called Alan.

What should I do- I want to preserve the marriage for the sake of the children.

pay for a sex worker.

A male sex worker would probably give the best value for money, given their familiarity with male genitalia.

It is by definition pleasurable. ..but as to why we seek such pleasure is not so clear cut...sure there was originally an evolutionary imperative. ..but most sex now is not in this aim.

Nor can we claim it to produce prosperity or some moral outcome

The true reason we like it...is not known to us

Just because the evolutionary driver has vanished doesn't mean the function has. And to be honest, I doubt the evolutionary driver has vanished. No sex urge means less, or no, children.

Just how old are you?

Oh shut up, in all seriousness that is what I thought the phrase meant when I first came across it at the age of 15 or so when reading John Updike.

You would have to be me to be reading John Updike at 15 but unaware of what oral sex was.

It was "the Witches of Eastwick" of all things, which I no doubt assumed was something in the Narnia vein.

I just thought it was Updike's goregeously ornate style ...
