The only reason Sweden's covid death rate is higher than Ireland is because they have an older population.
When you compare like for like Irelands covid death rate is higher than Sweden.
We have one the youngest populations in europe, at 36. Sweden, Italy, Germany as examples that represent the rest are in the low to mid 40's.
The number of Swedes who died in April and May was 19,149, according to preliminary figures from Statistics authority of Sweden (SCB). It’s a lot, but not historically much. At the turn of th…

When covid-19 came to Sweden, it was during a period when Sweden usually does not see very many dead. We also came from a winter that was unusually mild, which in turn meant that we had unusually few deaths. And the winter before that, 2018/2019 was similar. From a purely statistical point of view, Sweden thus had citizens who, in an ordinary year, would have died of an infection, virus or influenza, but had now survived. It also means that Sweden 2020 have an aging population. In ten years, the proportion of men over the age of 90 has increased by almost 40 percent, women by almost 20 percent. In just one year, between 2018 and 2019, the group older than 90 years increased by 1,324 people. That was when covid-19 struck. Which makes comparisons complex.

But the single largest factor for why Sweden had it much worse than its Nordic neighbors during corona is the “dry tinder” hypothesis. We are sensitive about
borrowing the “dry tinder” metaphor for the persons of human souls, but the metaphor is clarifying: Maybe a country has more forest fires this year than its neighbors because it had
fewer fires in previous years, and dry tinder accumulated, awaiting a spark.
For the previous year’s flu season, Sweden saw remarkably low death rates, relative to its own recent history and to that of its neighbors.
Jonas Herby, of Denmark’s Centre for Political Studies, shows Sweden’s dry tinder situation by reporting mortality rates over the last five flu seasons:
The dotted red line shows the unusually light death toll during the year 2018/2019 and into the first weeks of 2020; Sweden was loaded with “dry tinder” when the coronavirus arrived.
Sweden's death toll up until May 2020 reached nearly half of figures for 2019, a year with relatively little deaths.

In 2016 90982 people died in sweden.
In 2017 91972 people died in sweden.
In 2018 92185 people died in sweden.
In 2019 88766 died, a drop of 3409.
In 2020 as of November 6, 77300
So lets say its 10 months, and 77300 people so far in Sweden. who have died this year. Take a tenth of that, 7730 every month so far. Multiple that by two, and add it to 77300 and you get 92760. Back to where they were in 2018, where 2019 was an extreme year in terms of less people dying of the flu due to mild winter, as in what would normally be an increase where every year is bigger then any year that has in general gone before them, as obviously to those not mentally handicapped, there has never been as many people in the country where their demographic pyramid is increasingly getting older, where old age is obviously the primary cause of death etc... Due to the number of excess low hanging fruit that were in Sweden in 2020 compared to other countries, due to the mild winter of last year, its amazing that their numbers are as low as they are at this point, I would have expected 93 or 94 thousand this year going by above as an estimate.
The Republic of Ireland has supposedly 5 million people. Last year 32000 people died. Sweden has 10 million people, and 90000 die yearly there in general, so half that and you get 6 per thousand for Ireland and 9 per thousand for Sweden. As in every year they have around 45000 people that die to our 32000. And yet we are supposedly taking about less then 6000 people re this virus that died in a country that did not shut down like a bunch of total spastics and the flu has magically disappeared, where the number of deaths is not out of the ordinary.
We are dealing with retards that have no understanding of numbers, cause and effect or that things go up and down year to year, where the year is the base cycle that we live by due to the seasons and the sun and procession of the earth etc..
This is all gibberish, where people are reacting to spastic shit that only a retard would put out like this point data crap
Sweden sees highest deaths over 6-months for 150 years with 1/11 from Covid and the sheeple will of course lap it up, having themselves no understanding of such. The scum at the top are the issue and have been for so long.
As an aside, did ye know Pakistan is practically virus free a long while now, their government said it was over and and everyone over there has moved on, a miracle, or is it their advanced medicine and technology and testing that did it, or maybe its the lack of such and they realised its all bollix and had to promote functioning like a normal society would instead.
Guatemala, Czechia, Moldova and El Salvador today have more coronavirus active cases than Pakistan. Just two months...

Many countries have turned the tide with fewer tests. The WHO puts “at least two weeks of less than 5 percent of positive samples” as an indicator of outbreak under control. Another WHO adequate testing criteria states “we would certainly like to see countries testing at the level of ten negative tests to one positive as a general benchmark of a system that’s doing enough testing to pick up all cases.“
Funny shit, many countries have supposedly fixed things by not testing for it, makes perfect sense, we should learn from them.
