New Nazi party edges ever closer – HOPE not hate

An article (in Hope Not Hate admittedly) I missed a few months ago. Alleges that Nick Griffin is planning to make a political comeback onto the UK scene.

As far as I understood it, Nick Griffin was fed up with electoral politics and wanted to carry out this Reconquista Plan nonsense. However, now does strike me like a good time for a new re-invigorated nationalist party to come about: Ukip collapsed, the Brexit party has feet of clay and won't last. Nick Griffin is probably the best known far-right nationalist in the UK. Flawed leaders have started large nationalist movements in the UK before, such as John Tyndall. Griffin may be the man to front a new group for a few years.

An interesting project to follow (if it materialises)

I think it's very unlikely, if you want to know Nick's latest thoughts on the political process then have a listen to his podcast on Resistance Radio Importance of engaging the democratic process (podcast) | Resistance Radio
I'll have a listen. I do think though that you can have a party without necessarily expecting it to win elections. Griffin was always radical, he always wanted one foot in the political process and one foot in street action. Rally the various nationalists in one organisation so that when shit gets tough they're all united in what is essentially an alternative state within the state. Possibly the ban on ex-BNP may be lifted from UKIP too (if they hope to get somewhere on Tommy Robinson's coattails). We may see large scale entryism into UKIP by nationalists.

Brexit party has swallowed up all the large support with UKIP operating with people like Tommy Robinson.

no room for a new BNP type party in my view.

UKIP's acknowledged to be dead in the water. Brexit party has gone mainstream. There needs to be a dissident right. There'll soon enough need to be a rallying point for the nationalists.

I agree, however the safety valve Brexit Party won't be around forever, so I believe a genuine, non civic/kosher, pro ethno nationalist party is necessary like the old British National Party. I hear Mark Collett is looking at forming a political party, that'll probably be the only real nationalist party in Britain if that goes ahead. Either way Britain is too past the point where they can be saved by electoral politics.

where'd you hear that about Mark Collett? I wouldn't be surprised actually. He has quite a sizeable YouTube following. People forget how much of an idiot he was in the BNP and how dirty he got his bib in the past.

He has talked about it in his recent streams, partly the reason why he renamed his stream to 'patriotic weekly review' to reach out to a more normie friendly audience.

What did it used to be called - The Week in the Alt Right, correct?

Collett has way too much baggage from his BNP days. I don't think he'll be able to swing any force behind his new party. He'll get some internet support, but that isn't worth much in the real world.

Yes I agree, he may be able to get his points across well, but as for convincing ordinary people to get behind a party lead by him, no chance.

For Britain has already filled that vacuum.
They accept ex BNP people.

with the BNP on the extreme right, Militant/Socialist Worker on the extreme Left....what difference does it all make ? They cancel each other out. And they will never ever hold office, in any significant way.

in both cases, they will destroy a mainstream party if their toxic mix gets to cross-pollinate. That is how keeping them hermetically sealed from Tories/Labour/Brexit party actually serves a useful purpose.

pantomime villians that all and sundry can boo and giggle at.
