Listening to Finnucane I too reached unsuccessfully for my imaginary Glock... To drill the radio...

Finnucane explains manufacturing jobs being lost to China...

'Shur people in Ireland wouldn't work for ten grand these day .but fellas in China would be delighted.. They'd be made up....... begins to cough

Economics 101..

Finnucane earns €250.000 + per year for about 3 hours work a week..
It's actually 300 thousand for a part-time job. She is now 69. Why would she retire when she is sem-retired already. She has been for years. All at the taxpayers expense. Good work if you can get it. Again, how much in debt are RTE? We all need to pay more to keep Marion in the lifestyle to which she and her colleagues are accustomed.

If you are searching for, or want to keep your, employment in the sphere of broadcasting, 'the arts', journalism or any job really.. that has a degree of public visibility then you had better sing the Globohomo song... It's the only show in town... That iron rule also applies to Finnucane and other grizzled old Regime has beens.

There is an astonishingly narrow range of views you are allowed to hold... and there is no debate...

Trump badman... Trump badman...

The terrible Far Right...

Asylum seekers welcome..

Open the borders..

The reason they always bleat on about 'far right' is because they need a bogeyman, and also need to maintain a bullshit narrative that FG is right wing, and that anything outside that sphere is fringe, radical and dangerous.

The establishment parties are about one thing, hating and squeezing the ordinary worker as much as possible. Societal cohesion doesn't even register.

when did the Hoi Polloi ever matter to the élite.? The French Revolution of 1789 ought to be repeated ad infinitum every 50 years or so , that is the only way the Masses can keep their "Betters in Check".The example of Louis XIV to Louis XVI in France is akin to the tech giant CEOs who are all multi-billionaires and tell the masses who use their products "that they(CEOs) are doing them all a favour and providing "necessary services " for their(masses) benefit. The current state of "stable democracies" is being eroded away like the sea cliff until one day there is a massive fall of cliff into the sea.We came close during the last recession and the solution was to heap all the debt onto the taxpayers in all the "stable democracies" to save the system.Who were /are the architects of this "too big to fail system" ? yes , the élite of top "Wealth Creators mar dhea".Multi-billionaires who bought Govt Bonds with a guarntee they would make a profit regardless of what happens. We all remember Dracula Michael Gobshyte Noonan and his craven, attitude and opinions at every press conference going on about the "Secured and Unsecured Bondholders" endlessly.

Finucane occasionally turns in a good programme on a Saturday but it is more often miss than hit but her Sunday panel programme makes a jokefest and mockery of impartiality and diversity of viewpoint. Uniform snowflake banality is the order of the day, all on one page about the sacred cow issues e.g. Trump, Brexit, EU, mass migration, globalism, nationalism, Catholic Church, etc.

The sound of cosy consensus of the chatterati may well be underlain with the prospect of likely banishment forever from the airwaves for the slightest deviation from the official line. It makes for mind numbing conformity and headwrecking listening, imo.

what a joke! you mean to say that there are 163k amadáin in this country who tune in (allegedly)to this Jen Zamp.Just a figure plucked from the air as there is no way they can collect the data. Random sampling(in specific locations) is not random and is decieving. If one were to do a sample outside a secondary school then one would expect above average figs for Zamps but away from a location of high density youth to a general location the figs would be very, very low.IMO she is dreadful and her " forced enthusiasm" is very tiring and false.Dreadful X3 .

You should look at the JNLR website and examine who runs it and their research methodologies.
would love to know their weighting policies in more detail.
