Are SF supporters:
  1. Too lazy to vote in real elections?
  2. Too young to vote in real elections?
  3. Too stupid to vote in real elections?
  4. Suffer from a higher-than-average rate of agoraphobia?
  5. Overwhelmingly based abroad?
SF gets a huge vote in every single online poll, regardless of where it is posted, that never comes close to being matched in elections - can someone explain why?

SF is rather good at online/ Social Media propaganda and makes FF/FG/lab look like complete amateurs.

You'd wonder why, though? Given the respective size of the parties, one would think that FG, at least, would be able to outgun SF on marketing and online manipulation. Why does SF have so much online muscle?

Because FG and FF generally are out of their depth when it comes to propaganda and SF. SF has spent decades working with propaganda whereas FG and FF depend on their cronies in the media to do the heavy lifting for them. This makes them far more vulnerable to snakeoil salesmen and bullshítters. A previous FG Social Media guru is currently doing time in a Federal prison.

There is probably more than a grain of truth in that.

I also wonder if it's possible that some parties (not looking at any in particular) use funds raised abroad to pay for services abroad (such as marketing), to avoid the scrutiny of bringing it into the country?

I wouldn't say SF are that good with propaganda anymore; they are more prolific in it. Varadkar is now chompin' at the bit to catch up given his bright spark idea of running a ring of fake social media accounts to promote 'good news'. FF are still in bed at lunchtime with this.

Possible. However, people tend to underestimate SF when it comes to propaganda. The reason for this is generally due to the Stickies infiltration of RTE (leading to decades of pro-Loyalist and anti-SF propaganda from that station) and the FF/FG/Lab sympathies of the Dublin media. SF is a threat to the status quo and already has replaced Labour as a main party. It may also be on target to replace FF due to the incompetence of Martin's pro-FG leadership of FF. It is rather lucky with its enemies.

It has to be.

FF can be quite effective too. Varadkar and his gang seem to be more the Facebook friends of FG rather than FG. This could create problems during the next GE when it comes down to which party has the most effective grassroots operation. What could even happen is that FF could get more seats than FG and the usual chumps in the Dublin media won't be able to figure out why it happened.

The latest poll, We asked a thousand developers who they would vote for just after they were gifted about 2 billion euro in state land and other properties, all they have to do is build some cheap houses over a few years then fook off to England and claim bankruptcy like they did before, only this time with 2 billion of our money in their arse pockets!

Middle Ireland sees Higgins as this cuddly old guy with a big smile. "He's done a good job" they'll say.

These other business/celebrity candidates are not disliked but are seen to be a bit too sly for their own good.
Higgins is seen as the poor cripple who has spent his life fighting for what he has, in reality he has stepped on everyone who got in his way on his way to the top.

Shinners are just too lazy to get out of bed or to get off the sofa and off the PS4 to go out and vote. They would all sign up to fight the brits for the 6 counties tomorrow morning(my hairy arse), but in reality they are just feeble minded fair weather fruit loops!
