The Veneti were a Gallic people who lived in today's Brittany. They were a seafaring people who conducted trade all over Europe and beyond and were well established in the Baltics. Sadly, they were defeated by the Romans in a naval battle in 56 BC, and after that they were not allowed to trade any more and they went into decline. This book - which you can download in pdf - makes the claim that they were also established in Britain and that King Arthur may of been of their stock.
