This is all a silly distraction. Who gives a toss about John Delaney or the FAI.

Just withdraw public funding and let them sink or swim. Job done.

No it isn't
The FAI need to be fully investigated
There appears to have been a lot of white collar crime going on there over many years
And the culprits need to be brought to justice and jailed if guilty

Why aren’t the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation storming Abbotstown?

I cannot copy and paste the link from my phone but according to Newstalk Delaney is stepping down from the FAI as "vice-executive president" (some long winded title, you'd think he was in some giant multinational corporation). Must be some serious stuff been uncovered about him so he jumped ship before been thrown off ?

Jayus it's Ireland for fu*k sake not a hope will Delaney be punished just like every other white collar criminal in the state like Sean Fitzpatrick, Fingers Fingleton, Denis O'Brien, Larry Goodman. More like a position on a state board probably.

Hopefully Mark Tighe Sunday Times, who has done some good work on Delaney's antics at the FAI, will be able to find details of the payoff I presume Delaney got to go quietly and to keep his mouth shut.

If the FAI are so strapped for cash, I wonder will Sport Ireland come up with the lolly for the pay off.
