Classic Cooper Clarke live moment. I saw him at The Baggot Inn in Dublin around early nineties, and also at Eamonn Andrews' Television Club opening for Aslan of all bands. Sharp as a Stanley blade. One wag at the Baggot date yelled up something or other to catch his attention and heckle him. Quick as a shooting star, John replies: 'sorry Mate, I can't 'ear a word you're saying...your mouth's so full of shit....'
