Sectarianism was always a divide and conquer strategy and the plantation project was specifically designed for that very purpose. As more and more people on both sides wake up to this, the old divisions look increasingly outdated and irrelevant. Why not consider the hypothesis that Mr. Dowson is one such person, from the Loyalist side, who sees the need to transcend the old tribalism? He himself says this so why not just take him at his word?
That belief in unity of purpose makes Dowson dangerous to the vested interests which seek to destroy Ireland North and South. Unity is strength, and they do not want a unified force against their policies.
The Burkean has previously published great work on the Antifa tactics and the Cultural Marxism infiltration of Irelands Universities.
Their ad hominem attack, without proof on Dowson and indirectly on Siol na hEaireann leaves questions open on their motives, especially as the Patriot/Nationalist cause is gaining momentum and sending the Gombeen Regime Media into pearl clutching hysterics.

It's divide and conquer all the way.

I think there is a more innocent explanation. Most people on all sides are still stuck in the old paradigm and have not made the mental adjustment to the new situation. So they fall back on standard reactions to Loyalists , etc. No doubt there are people on his side who think he is a sell-out for associating with Teagues.

Look at these 2 videos loaded today.

Is this not what we would want, expect and support in an Irish Nationalist leader?

the ploughing championships assault on gombeen two faced politicians was quite funny and revealing
but it was probably the only useful thing this guy did to date.

otherwise he's just been divisive.

They were brilliant, but that was from last year, before Jim Dowson was on to Niall

McConnell is also a fake Christian.

In one video McConnell claimed that Christianity had been in Ireland for 2000 years.
Getting dates wrong is evidence of ignorance not fakery. However, I do share your misgivings on this score mainly because of his lack of reverence when conducting those prayers. He barks them through a bull horn.

It shows he knows little or nothing about the history of Christianity if he thinks its been in Ireland for 2000 years.
