If the UK could hold an election and transfer to a new government, by a party gaining an outright majority for the first time, in the final months of WWII I really don't understand what the hell is going on here and now

How are some of these people still ministers when they aren't even TDS any more?
They can continue on as a caretaker administration while no new government is formed. Could be 6 months.

For FG, Covid is a Godsend. They get to stay in Office indefinitely, despite being completely rejected in the election.

Anyone who criticises them can be shut down with appeals to national solidarity.
So. You reckon the all the other TDs will vote them out any day now?
