SF took a political gamble and went with the trend toward socio-sexual emancipation (i.e. The Libtard Tendency). They probably thought they'd eat all the other leftie luvvies' lunch. And indeed, Labour has imploded and the SocDems are flatlining at an irrelevant level. But it's a crowded field in Leftard Land and the Greens are resurgent and any number of leftard indies also eat from that voter trough.

However, the real game-changer was the conversion of the big two from socially conservative to SJW shìtlib. Now there's no edge, no margin in luvvie posturing.

They could have morphed post-GFA into a socially conservative, fiscally responsible, immigration-sceptical "Ireland for the Irish" party. They would have copped endless flak from the MSM but they would have hoovered up votes from real working-class and lower-middle class people. Instead they became Soros puppets and get a pat on the head from the MSM.

Well said - but SF were never going to be anything other than what they turned out to be as they are COMPLETELY controlled since 1986.

There’s about as much chance of SF bringing about a 32 County Republic as there is of a non-Shinner
getting a job at Féile West Belfast.;)

Michelle is in a swoon. Micron mentioned a United Ireland. Ignore the fact that he sees its as UI integrated in the EU. Ignore the fact that any socialist republican would run a mile from Micron, who uses armed EU robocops to batter the People off the streets of France.

And if you peruse the comments, not one of SF groupees note that the price of the UI is Ireland absorption into a new Union. Undoing everything that Republicanism ever fought for. Micron is now a "top man", all his Yellow Vest brutality ignored and forgotten.
