Like it wasn't before when someone decided to call a Greek Exit "Grexit" which then gave us Brexit.

Brexit in 1 word summarises the Eurozone Crisis, the Vote was swung by Bears correctly perceiving that the EU couldn't fix the problem & then the British Exit got a corellative nickname from Grexit...

Anyway Goldman are gettin their Shit kicked in, even the Lockdown has an upside :D

A Nation without control of its Borders ,Laws and above all its Currency is a subjugated colony. It can be exploited by its controllers at will. ( Irelands Euro 220billion debt caused by conspiracy and fraud)
Until Ireland exits the Euro currency we have little control of our Economy.
We are in the centre of a breakdown in the World Financial System, begun in the USA again , with the failure and bail-out with $6 Trillion of US Banks and Corporations
.Money created from thin air and pumped into the System ,will destroy the System unless it is used to benefit production of real goods ,as in Industry, manufacturing, agriculture etc.
Money used for Production creates employment and social wellbeing.
Financial Capitalism, money chasing money , a gigantic Casino in reality and a predator on Industrial Capitalism.
The EURO currency has brought poverty , unemployment and civil unrest to Europe and its dysfunction is becoming apparent each day.
To protect itself from the coming economic wreckage ,Ireland must exit the Euro.
It is unlikely Ireland has the quality of competent Economists in its Civil Service to advise this clown Regime of the necessity
of our own Independent currency.
We will continue to stand like a rabbit in the headlights ,while the steamroller of Economic collapse approaches to squash us.
Sadly Ireland does not have Leaders, we have braindead Followers.

I was just about to link that. Things are really changing when the Irish Times is asking questions of the EU.

Seemingly the frugal Dutch are blocking attempts to mitigate the Covid crisis financially.

Called the Hansa for short, this collection of the Netherlands, Ireland, and Baltic and Scandinavian states was brought together by the departure of Britain from the European Union. As a group, it hoped to replace the UK’s clout on economic matters and defend a trade-friendly, pro-business viewpoint.

Ireland left it by joining the call of nine states including, Italy, Spain and France, for joint debt issuance in the form of eurobonds or coronabonds.

The northern gang was never a perfect fit for Ireland anyway. But the attitude of the Netherlands in the past few days of negotiations has made the departure final.

Disaster
Ireland, in tune with southern states, has been appalled by The Hague’s staunch blocking of proposals to dig European economies out of disaster and debt spiral caused by the pandemic.

In the Netherlands, jointly-backed debt is commonly likened to taking over your neighbour’s mortgage, an unfair characterisation that draws on an old misapprehension that the euro zone bailouts were gifts from Dutch and German taxpayers, rather than loans repaid with interest. Naturally, the Irish view is more nuanced.

Read this article folks. I almost feel embarrassed about bashing the IT now .

The rejection of a joint debt solution is pushing Italy towards the exit door of the European Union. They've had it with Brussels.

It was the vote of a party with 19 seats in the Dutch parliament, the europhile D66 party, that confirmed to international observers that a different reality held within the borders of the lowland state. By joining much of the opposition to back Mark Rutte’s government’s rejection of joint debt, the party sank international hopes the prime minister might come under domestic pressure to cave.

Some officials believe the Dutch will come in time to see that the stakes are high for them too. But not until it has become clear that the euro itself is under threat, great economic damage has been wreaked, and seeds of bitterness between EU countries have been sown deep.

The great fear is that by then it will be too late to turn back a tide of disgust in Italy towards the entire EU project.

the austrians are Catholic Germans by any other name so, whatever Angela Merkel and her govt decide the Austrians will go along with it.The Germans need some allies in "keeping a hand on the tiller" otherwise it is obvious The Germans are running the EU as their "puppet".When this virus pandemic fades to being a lesser problem healthwise and economically , it will result in a "changed attitude within nations of the EU".The French,Italians,Spanish will be a trio "bonded ever closer together" and will not be bossed about and told to "suffer ever again as they have done through this". Together they can shape the EU " for better or for worse".But this year will leave a mark on the EU like a headstone over a grave,to remind the world of what needless deaths , frugality on the part of some nations and lack of solidarity
bequeathed the EU.

EU is dead in the water
Too soon to call..

Don't forget the solid gold swill buckets in Strasburg and Brussels. .Snouts in the trough of fat pensions, 'status' and hefty wages are the reward for loyal colonialists like the EU administrators of Ireland will a position for services rendered..

Until that's gone I doubt anything will change.

Why are you double posting? As I stated, that article is behind a paywall. Do you have an alternative link or article?
