FG are considering calling a snap General Election. The short notice will be a tactic used to give them an advantage, while opposing Parties are unprepared.
FG have gone the way of all Parties in Power and have become consumed with arrogance and hubris, the Achilles heel of all Regimes.
FG have made bad mistakes in the past few months ,with the Black &Tans commemoration debacle, the attempt to impose censorship by Hate Speech Laws, the revelation that Immigrants by-pass the Housing lists and go top of the queue, that migrant students receive preference plus free Education and grants,
The Mercosur Agreement of the EU and Beef dispute has infuriated Farmers, The obvious Open Borders Weaponised Mass Migration Plantation policy ,with its consequential detrimental effect on Housing, Health and Education
FF are aware of the toxic nature of FG policies with the electorate and are now distancing themselves and withdrawing their cooperation in Govt, But FF are not the answer ,and are just another GloboHomo abomination.
The FG control of the Media Channels and suppression of news detrimental to the Immigration policy, the promotion of the false and dangerous policy of Multiethnic society is now becoming blatantly obvious to people.
There is no real Opposition to the Regime in the Dail to balance the Globohomo policies. Ireland can no longer afford another 5 years of the Regime.
Their policies that will destroy the Nation.
They must be removed and their dangerous policies reversed. If not the Irish People will be a minority in their Homeland in another 20 years.
Do your bit and get ACTIVE and support and vote for Patriotic Parties and bring another with you. There has never been a better opportunity for an Electoral Coup in Ireland.
This could be our last chance for survival as a Nation of Irish People.

opportunities for a patriotic coup are overstated. Patriotic parties have been slow to get candidates in the field. I see Melissa O'Neill announced as a candidate for the IFP, as yet I don't see any others. I'm sure there will be a lot more but such parties have missed a trick in not getting their candidates into areas before now and having them active in on the ground politics. pot holes, street light etc etc. practical things that motivate people to vote for a candidate.

What's the story with the NP or IFP, are they going to bother entering the election this time?

If they sit this one out then I think they are nothing more than controlled opposition.

The National Party have been actively campaigning for the past 3 months. Justin Barrett was aware of the likelihood of a snap Election.
He has kept his cards close to his chest with candidates selected, coached and prepared, Cumann established in most counties for support, Posters and literature designed and printed. Distribution organised.
The Manifesto has been completed, with Economic ,Political and Social Policies addressed. It has not been publicly issued ,to prevent the Opposition the opportunity to importune the radical ideas of NP.
General Elections are a game of Poker and you do not reveal your cards to the Opposition prematurely and lose the game.
The integrity of the Ballot boxes and transportation to Count centres has been a concern since observation of recent EU Parliament and Irelands bye -elections. Tactics have been developed for surveillance and to ensure an honest outcome to the General Election.

Surely guaranteed already.

What is it he will get,

Pension as a TD
Pension as a Minister
Pension as Taoiseach.

And maybe something from his time as a Doctor.
