It appears to me as if she recognized her side had lost and was moving on to her main focus, which is corruption.
Could be Dan but she didn't seem vexed or really pissed off in that video.

The fact she even says "they should be celebrating" in a non confrontational tone doesn't tell me she voted with them but tells me her videos of the last six months have faux outrage, she is playing to a gallery, oh she tries too hard sometimes she ends up contradicting herself.

There are people like poster Valamhic that want radical change but realise now Gemma is a massive liability to that cause.

And Gemma is completely unelectable.

Seriously imagine telling the voters I am going to close down RTÉ and send all the staff to prison.

She will be laughed at. That's just one example

I'll make this a bit simpler for you, Danny boy.
See, I'm a Liverpool supporter and for years Man United were winning everything, ok?

Now, when United were winning trophies I would say "The Mancs are celebrating tonight, and so they should be"

Does that make me a Manc scum supporter?
That is exactly what I said to Dan72 but it was not simple enough for you I guess.

The only one playing to the gallery is a lonely little YFGer called Danny who has zero life experience and is still a bit wet behind the ears...

She has actually delivered all I want from her - she's driving the 'flakes nuts.

Service delivery completed.

If she overdelivers now by creating further political waves then fair juice to her - she'll have exceeded my expectations.
She will make no electoral gains at all.
Gemma personally won't nor any under her ACI umbrella.

I can guarantee you that.

She will bomb like Herman's Irexit crowd party.

The votes are there and they know it. I pick it up all the time in snatched conversations with people at work and socialising. People are sick to the back teeth of towns being taken over by third world welfare tourists. Usually they might qualify it by saying 'Of course, you can't say it.. you might be called a racist'. But a few brave people like Gemma embolden many others.

Many of us here are arguing points, if you could try stop arguing with me and debate the points, you might actually get something out of the exchange.

Do you know what Dáil politics is about?
Do you know how dirty it is?

No one is going to give up their seat without a fight, and if Gemma and her crowd tried to run, they have given their opponents so much free ammunition oh and the media would have a field day.

Her group will get slaughtered, she has no chance.

I agree she was not pissed off, so the issue was not of paramount importance to her and she likely might have concluded it was an issue whose time had come, long before the vote. And we know that politicians will never lead but fearfully follow and will not advocate until safe enough to do so.

Val is not a fan because she ignores his emails and suggestions.

It is nonsense to believe she can not be elected even if one was of the belief she was insane. Trump got elected. She getting elected in a 5 seat constituency is a piece of cake compared to that.

She got I think about 1.4% of the vote. No surprise to me as I called it at 1 to 1.25.

She is at 2% at least overall in Dublin so 3% in more favorably areas.

9% will see here elected in a 5 seater.

Not there today but it will be, when the economy slows.

Cahill did well in Cork. she's an Irexit officeholder. So they didn't tank. Gemma did well in Dublin; an unfavourable constituency. Neither had the machine behind them the mainstream parties did.

They won't get anywhere if they don't get their strategy right - that is true.

But is there fertile ground for an EU-sceptic patriotic movement that doesn't abide these astroturf wreckers currently ruining this country? Yes, there is. More so when this tax-intensive climate change craziness comes down the chute. And that, if only that, I can guarantee you.
