According to Eamonn Ryan of the green party, fg had a windfall for the last 3 years of €10bn per year made up of Corporate taxes and low interest rates on national debt and effectively blew the lot of it........fg fiscal responsibility, yea right. He says the Fiscal Council has been scathing of fg's management of the economy.

Another bunch of money grabbing wasters.......

Every organ of the Régime, from the administration to the courts to the police are tainted with extreme corruption and incompetence.
And every major 'charity' and sports organization. But Paddy and Mary will vote FG/FF/Greens/LP regardless as they preceive they will benefit somehow from the endless corruption.

10.3 million in funding announced for migrant integration and gender equality in the workforce.

Some €4.5 million of this funding is being made available under the European Union’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).

The migrant integration projects will provide a range of supports to migrants. There will also be grants made available to “cultural diversity” and “anti-racism” initiatives, it said.

What about the culture of Ireland?

One of the projects in Cork under the migrant intergration category involves training to migrants based around a horticultural theme. Another nationwide project is aimed at providing diversity training in schools to promote diversity and integration.

Minister of State David Stanton said: “These grants will support and bolster the good work being carried out every day by local community organisations and national NGOs in support of migrant integration, which is crucially important.”

* Important to whom? No one asked the Irish how they felt about this, but the situation in Ireland is not good. The government is relocating migrants like hot cakes and the tensions are rising.

There is little to choose from...Ireland lacks a much needed presence on the right to challenge Varadkar, who is also intent on moving the EPP leftwards.

How did it come to this in Ireland?
