Far right is now the got to phrase to dismiss and ostracise anyone or group who disagree with progressive ideology no matter how warped , ridiculous, unwarranted or irrelevant it is.
And not a single media outlet have been curious enough to ask what it means in an Irish context.
Seems to be used by Anti-Irish, well heeled types in the media, academia and politicians.
They seem to have a hatred for Ireland and the Irish but portray themselves as lovers of “Diversity and enrichment”.
It’s a pity the students in universities are so indoctrinated by the anti Irish that they fail to see their own oppression and rise up against it.

While i believe the gardai unfortunately had to take the action they did, there were several posters here parroting the claim that george nkencho had 30 or so convictions here and basically proved the content of the above article.

To those that did, you either willingly spread lies or you were fooled as easily as a child would be into believing anything. A fool or a liar is your choice...

Hi folks. There have been a number of actors using far left conspiracy theories to attack their political opponents.
The modus operandi is simple. Use anonymous sources and Blame anonymous bogeymen they call “the far right”.
Politicians, the media and Police have all used this conspiracy theory to tarnish their opponents. It’s time to catalogue these abuses of power.

Here is one example, feel free to post others as they arrive in this thread.

Tributes are being paid to Garda Alan Leblique following his tragic death. a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Garda Leblique has been hailed as “a hero” and a “patient, kind man” by many following his death on Monday evening. Communities from across Ireland and the UK are sharing messages of support for his husband, family, and colleagues.
On Tuesday evening, a vigil was held outside Dun Laoghaire Garda Station in memory of Leblique. The service was led by Garda chaplains Fr Joe Kennedy and arch Deacon David Pierpoint.

LGBTQ+ community mourns tragic death of Garda Alan Leblique • GCN

Why is the Catholic Church taking part in this Tribute?

He clearly was no Christian.

May he rest in peace.
If he is a Christian let God be his judge.
The Catholic Church has prayed for and buried many sinners.
I hope one day they will bury me, a sinner

Let's see where it goes. If the Crime Editor of the Irish Sun is making an allegement about the Garda's abuse by the far right I expect he will follow up with some kind of evidence in due course. So let's revisit then.

And with that in mind I suggest we not jump to making lame false equivalences with the overt conspiracist mindedness that the "far right" manifestly thrive on.

"Allegement" ??

No such word.

Are you a native speaker of a language other than English?

Why is he clearly not a christian

In Christianity (as in all World Religions BTW] sexual relations are only between Man and Woman.

This individual was 'married' to his male partner.

He was no Christian

So why was a Christian ceremony held on his behalf?
