Went to the chipper tonight and got a few bags of chips.

Ate what I wanted and left the rest for later.

3 hours later the chips are quite cold, but none the less im tucking in, they taste awful but at the same time taste nice.

Advice on how to enjoy them even more?

Do you have eggs, cheese, bacon rashers and onions? Even someone as witless as you must have that in your fridge or access to them.

Pu the cold chips in a pie dish.

Take 2-4 beaten eggs and add them to about 200 g of grated cheese.

Chop up about half an onion mix in.

Pour it over the chips.

bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown

Are you a student? Students should know these things.

Have you tried cutting them up and pan-frying them with bell pepper, onions and bits of sausage. or other cold meats?

Of course you haven't.

because you are useless....

Could you toast them on an open fire?

This is making me feel sad - and I am not remotely foodie :)

I just have a wartime housewife's atitude to food.

I can't believe all you can come up with is microwave the chips and eat them between slices of white bread and marge.

Of course I can. It's an irish website. A real irish website not an Irish Times supplement for the aspirating middle classes.

Yes, I am developing confidence in the site ownership ...
