The Green vote is most certainly NOT toxic worldwide. Climate change, plastics etc is on everyone's lips.

And I don't need your advice about ignoring personal preferences when making a forecast. Are you crazy? You think my preferences are for the ones I forecast to win? Ludicrous. That's like saying that my wish that Dundalk will win the Champions League constitutes a prediction that they will win.
Its not crazy. Paddy power bookmakers favored Hillary to win in 2016. Fair enough she was an established politician. Odds on her were poor. Paddy Power offered 3/1 on Trump when it should 6/5. Hillary had the edge bit only starting off. As the election campaign progressed Power raised the odds on Trump to 4/1. This was mad and could only be explained by emotional thinking. In fact as I placed my bets , the staff asked me how I could support such a horrible candidate? Power loved Hillary so much he paid out on her a weeks before the result.

I don't see Cuffe doing anything tbh. Daly will beat him.

I don't think there's a big demographic that will actually vote for climate change-heads. Not anywhere near critical mass to pinch a seat.
Well. usually voters will not supports increases in tax, how will the word carbon change that.?

Have any opinion polls been taken for the Dublin constituency?
Surprisingly none yet, I'd say Fitzgerald FG, Clare Daly, Lynn Boylan. FF are said to be doing badly in Dublin, the rest are no hopers.

Paddy Power had Boylan prohibitive odds-on to win a seat. 8 to 1 on, I think.
Daly also odds-on, but much less so.

I think that's as much nonsense as PP offering 14 to 1 ON the Minger of the West.

I would consider Daly a cert, Even people like me would vote for Daly.

Boylan? Not in a billion years. She should run for the Egyptian Parlament. She has a long record of worthlessness. And Ni Riada showed us how shallow is the Sinn Fein vote.

I can't see Fianna Fail getting a seat.
Fitzgerald, Cuffe, Daly.

Daly, Fitz & 1 udder...

However there is another in the bag if and when Brexit is done & dusted...

Well she sounds to me like a lady not afraid to talk truth to power unlike all the usual FF/FG/Lab and of late Sinn Fein toadies and sycophants
who will continue to rubber stamp everything in the neoliberal agenda, sell us out and take the money.

You have to hand it to her, she can speak, clearly and distinctly and get her message across. It's such a pity she is a leftie. She can identify
the immediate effects of American policy on peoples lives but can't identify the effects of socialist policies on the whole world. I agree with
posters here, she will win a seat. She can talk, Trump can talk and that gets votes, but after Spain, it looks like any move to populism
will be slow

I heard the RTE Special yesterday on the 1 O'clock News

At least they let all candidates the chance to say a few words

But they concentrated on the Big Beasts

The one who least impressed me was Barry Andrews

TBH I'd say she'll get it

Gay Vote

Abortion Vote

Female Vote

Party Loyalists

I would say CD will be the 1st home

- then FF

Big Scrap for seat 3

Boylan, Andrews & perhaps the Green Man

There is a 4th seat on the cards

- now that could be really interesting if we can get an anti Establishment figure across the line...:smilie-devil:

What has Boylan done for Egypt, sorry, Ireland? Fitzgerald and herself are utterly useless, imo. Francis Fitzgerald's chance at a cushy MEP seat sinecure is Leo's consolation prize for her after she was forced to go.
