The presenter states there were a significant number of tweets reacting to his interview with Ebun Joseph which have shocked him. Yet he gives the listener no indication of that they said. Surely he could have read out the ones that offended him the least, and said for example 30% include the N word. Seems to me he censored what would appear to be a significant no of listener opinions.

He's an ugly son of a B, isn't he?
Classic face for radio joke.

There's a Fine Gael Councillor in Meath (party affiliation no longer means anything, could just a easily be a Green or Soc Dem) who wants books that are viewed as classics of American fiction to be banned from our schools. books such as To Kill A Mocking Bird, Huck Finn etc.
His rationale? Some characters use 'racist' language.

What image do you have of a guy who would call for something like that? The kind of guy who would sign up to take one of Ebun's ludicrous courses.
And like Ebun he has never read these books, indeed in her case no books at all, with the possible exception of some booklets issued by the Dept of Social Welfare.

Make a mental image.
And then google this fellow, Alan Lawes and see whether your stereotype was accurate.

It's like one big party, in sub divisions with tiny differences between them, barely even worth discussing.

Note in the radio Nova piece about this councillor they call on Ellie Kisyombe for her opinion - she was the (would be SD cllr) scamster caught out by Mark Tighe, Sunday Times who, as the result of Mark's good work was given residency!

Wanting to ban a book you haven't read is like a Father Ted sketch. Remember the scene where Father Dougal has a placard - down with that sort of thing!
