I don't think she was ever either but she was certainly a fellow traveller. We aren't going to agree about Dominic McGlinchey and don't think a discussion would lead anywhere, we do though agree on a lot and sometimes it best not force agreement about the past both in politics and elsewhere. I was stupid and wrong to have made the comments that I did about her in the OP because it was opening a can of worms. However I was right to bring this suggestion of hers to attention because potentially it could be extremely damaging to Derry for the reasons I laid out.

Well, it would be a bloody disaster for Derry.

What makes you think Bernadette McAliskey is a Police Informant?

Is that not a libelous comment?

I've taken a Screenshot of it, so it's pointless removing it.
As sword says- I never said & nor did I ever insinuate that Bernadette McAliskey was a Police Informant.

Nor did I even think it

So I don't care about your Screen Grab.

She was in a group of Republicans full of informers & many people there were bona fide "Republicans"- which I think she was.

These groups combined Republicans & Anti Republicans which lead to a "loss of focus of Patriotism"

What makes you think I give the slightest fuckk about what you misinterpret- either deliberately or otherwise?

Keepin yer fuckin nose out of it & don't stir shit...

I don't think that she gave the UK State information about anything Political in the widest definition ever.
Calling anyone an informant is placing yourself above the Law. What Law is Dublin - 4 answerable to, and do you think I should bow down to his threats, to keep my fucking nose out of it? That is not going to happen.

I'll leave you to do the maths.

Only for the Mods to see, "Kiddo" as I haven't reported you yet, even though you are misinterpreting my Posts either deliberately or accidentally.

If you continue misinterpreting me I will have to Report you- not that I want to or that it is the end of the World.

I don't give a monkeys about your "ideas" of Maths either. Facepalm

If I knew McAliskey was I Tout I would say it- I've no reason to even suspect it.

This Thread is not about you misinterpreting my Posts or alternatively, Mc Aliskey's past as a Bona Fide "Republican".

Any chance we can avoid all your Drama please & return to the Subject?

If you want to go to War then go ahead- pity about you misinterpreting or misreading me, I actually got to like you but you don't realise that...

Look my OP was thoughtless but I'm not going to go back on it, I'm not against all Anti-GFA Republicans at all but some I'm very against.

However the central issue raised in the OP should have been raised. It would be bad for both tribes and if anything would possibly make a united Ireland more unlikely.

McAliskey & Co are "Alternative Conquest" Supporters- I thought our Resident "National Socialist" would concur about that.

I've no time for McAliskey & never will have .

I only sympathise with my own people up North - the Irish, the Unionists aren't Irish but a tiny, tiny percentage of Protestants are.

A lot of various different types of Protestants are very decent people.

Nordies are infamously myopic however I don't think the Shinners will buy into this idea but there is just a chance that they will. They might go this far though they probably wont.

Of course the reaction of the fleggers will be to go ballistic- but just like in the fleg riots that will draw in scarce PSNI resources and allow hoods to prey on both sides. The fleggers had to be faced down than however this is something else. There are non-violent ways to make Prods look like gobshytes- it isnt the most difficult thing in the world.

However a Somali rapes the daughter of a local Republican hard mon and than what happens? They retaliate back, which is fair enough, but than they get the Somalis "revenging" and things could easily spiral especially given the unemployment there which creates a situation where people have time to really dwell on things.

Than there is the fact that one of the major problems in Northern Ireland on both sides of the "Peace Wall" (though yes it is most evident among Prod males you would be a fool to walk around Divis now) is lumpenization, a lot of these illegal immigrants are lumpens who would just encourage our ain wee feral creatures to become even more feral. Who really wants to see Detroit on the Foyle?

There is a rule of life that I try to live by, though I don't always do and it is- "never make a bad situation worse".
I'm almost afraid to say this but I've heard (from a source I believe) that getting raped or assaulted by a Muslim in NI will elicit little sympathy from your local republican representative and if you pursue a complaint you'll be told in no uncertain terms to drop the subject

And what will these immigrants actually do in this "sanctuary city".
There are few jobs, even less if you're an unqualified immigrant with pigeon English. There is a huge housing shortage and an epic waiting list.
Child poverty in Creggan, Bogside and Brandywell is running at around 50%, and let's face it thats, where these immigrants will be dumped.

Why has Republicanism morphed into the political equivalent of "like-mongering".
