Kenyan anti-vaccine doctor dies from Covid-19

A Kenyan doctor who became a vociferous opponent of the Covid-19 vaccine has succumbed to the virus, weeks after saying the jab was "totally unnecessary".

Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread, chairman of the Kenya Catholic Doctors Association, advocated steam inhalation and hydroxychloroquine tablets.

He clashed with the Catholic church over the safety of the Covid jabs.

Health authorities and the World Health Organization (WHO) rejected his claims.

"[The vaccine] being distributed in Kenya, has been reviewed and found safe not only by the WHO rigorous process but also by several stringent regulatory authorities," the WHO said in March.

The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops also distanced itself from Dr Karanja's view on the Covid-19 vaccines, saying the vaccines were "licit and ethically acceptable."

Kenya received just over a million vaccine doses from the global Covax initiative, most of which have been administered.

The country has confirmed more than 160,000 cases and 2,707 deaths. In March, the government imposed another lockdown restricting movement in five counties after a surge in new infections.

“Conclusion

Chloroquine, a relatively safe, effective and cheap drug used for treating many human diseases including malaria, amoebiosis and human immunodeficiency virus is effective in inhibiting the infection and spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. The fact that the drug has significant inhibitory antiviral effect when the susceptible cells were treated either prior to or after infection suggests a possible prophylactic and therapeutic use.”

Chloroquine was hailed as a major treatment in defeating SARS COV back in 2006 in this research paper...

Dr. Anthony Fauci on the 22nd August, 2005...said, “Chloroquine was a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus an infection spread”

Kenya has a population just over 52 million and a reported 2,707 Covid deaths.

Ireland has a population of 4.907 million and Covid related deaths of 4,906 after one of the longest, most draconian lockdowns in the world.

I think you have to agree by the look of those numbers Kenya were doing ok up until now?

God rest Dr Stephen Karanja🙏

Funny how it’s only those leaders who oppose vaccines that die with Covid...not one bit suspicious, just a coincidence 👀

One needs to remember that the drugs mentioned regarding treatment and prevention of the current coronavirus would all be 'off-patent' at this stage and wouldn't make trillions for documented criminal drug pushers like pfizer etc etc...

As malaria is a problem in Kenya they were successfully treating their people with chloroquine . meanwhile they have discovered Hitler's loot. Money and power corrupt. Treasure hunters plan to dig up 48 crates of Hitler's gold

Maybe the overseer of the pandemic might let up as his father died recently and the Bil and Melinda Gates foundation has just split. No good comes out of wrong living. Breaking: Bill Gates announces divorce from wife Melinda - Vanguard News

It really makes me laugh how you anti-vaxxers rant about ‘Big Pharma’ one minute, then the next you become drug pushers.

COVID-19 mRNA vaccines give instructions for our cells to make a harmless piece of what is called the “spike protein.” The spike protein is found on the surface of the virus that causes COVID-19.

I think you are missing an important piece of the puzzle here.

It's the immune cells that make the spike protein. But then they always have. That's how the immune system works, in general.

Its those immune cells that make the spike protein (as they do when triggered by vaccines, or infections in general).

That then kicks off the next part of the process for the immune system to generate antibodies.

This means you don't need to go through the actual infection and the complications as SARS-CoV-2 attacks the respiratory system (and latterly, other systems).

India, which is in the midst of a devastating second coronavirus wave, reported 3,498 deaths on Thursday, according to health ministry data. It was the third day in a row the country recorded more than 3,000 deaths a day.

But medical experts and frontline workers worry the actual death toll may actually be much higher.
