Below is a picture of a crowded beach in Britain.
Last year NOT ONE SINGLE CASE OF CORONAVIRUS was contact traced to any beach anywhere in Britain, all the way from Lands End to John O'Groats, NOT ONE CASE!
In this country, heading into peak summer season for summer sports like golf, tennis, cricket an Taoiseach and the Minister are still ordering that facilities at sports clubs such as changing rooms, showers, kitchens, meeting rooms must remain closed.
Look closely at the image below and ask yourself how different is your sports club changing room - other players in their underwear, drying down with towels, sitting down or lying back recovering after a burst of effort - how different is the scene in your changing area from the picture below, and if clubs guarantee to keep the area well ventilated how can an Taoiseach and the minister of health possibly justify that order to keep it shut?
The answer is they cannot justify it because it cannot be justified!
How many cases of virus in this country were last year contact traced to a golf or tennis club? How many??
This is something sports loving men and women in this country should now be getting angry about, and not just angry about, but furious, and they need to let the Taoiseach and the minister know this.
Sports lovers especially have to let the higher ups in their club know their mind on this because sadly in far too many clubs the higher ups - the committee, the chairman, the secretary - are establishment figures, they might be in the public sector, teachers, gardai, in the bank or local government and they won't want to go against positions they have to take at work.
The higher ups in your club who you would expect to be fighting for your club are often the very ones blocking your club from the change that members want, THE HIGHER UPS MIGHT NOW BE PART OF THE PROBLEM!
Sports lovers cannot let another summer go by with their club barely operating, especially when it is well known that over 80% of covid cases suffer from vitamin D deficiency, for which the best treatment is .... outdoor exercise, exposed to warm sunshine.
Sports lovers need to get angry about his, they need to start finding their inner rage and tap into it, because that's the way to peak performance in their sport, and is the way to ensure that they have a game at all to play this summer.
Look at the picture below. No recorded covid from any beach anywhere in Britain last year. Then ask yourself, how is it so different from your club's locker and showers area with the windows open and the blowers on?

One is an outdoor area bathed, in UV light and very low humidity and ocean breezes.

The other is an indoor space, with more limited ventilation, and high humidity.

This is just a joke post to rise us?

The Mass Immigrationist fanatics spin the lie that importing migrants and settlers from all over the globe is a great thing.
Their first example of these benefits is often a reference to the high numbers of foreigners who staff what passes for a medical system in Ireland.
Of course they don't deal with the substantive point, which is why a country that throughout most of the 20th century produced its own doctors and nurses suddenly became dependent on importing personnel from the Third World. And of course the Irish taxpayer continues to pay to produce fine doctors and nurses. Evidence of the success of that enterprise is that our medical graduates can find employment throughout the English-speaking world.

All that is by way of preface. What I want to draw attention to is the vast cost of translation services now being paid for by the Irish taxpayer.
As a Language Guy, I enjoyed checking out the following polyglot site. But as a taxpayer it enraged me. Truly Babel has arrived and has built its tower in Ireland.

Of course, also as a Languages Guy, I question the entire process of the provision of translations in Ireland.
Who are the translators, how are they recruited, what are their qualifications, how much are they paid, what quality control is there etc etc. Probably a specialist's concerns, but you don't have to be a languages person to question if the following represents good use of public money.

People fully vaccinated against Covid-19 say they've 'got their lives back'

After a year spent in her house, shielding from the virus, she is feeling the benefits of receiving the two jabs.

"I feel great, I've got my life back. It's been a tough year."

She is going out again to do her own shopping.

She has her life back because she can go to the shops, you could do that anyhow!
