Amazing!!! Here we have Pete Seeger accompanying Johnny Doherty on the banjo and throwing in lots of interjections. Filmed by Seeger's wife Toshi in Carraig, Co. Donegal in 1964.

Delightful film made by UTV in 1972 on the life of Johnny Doherty, who I have never realised was a Traveller.

Another Travelling man - the Pecker Dunne - born in Condae Maigh Eo, on April's Fools Day 1931, and he was always a great joker. But though born in Mayo, he's always though of as a great Dub.

Dolly Mac Mathúna - bean Chiarán Mac Mathúna - ag canadh ag Fleadh Cheoil, Kilrush, 1967. Love and porter make young men older - alas, how true...
