A rarity here. I don't recall any since 2010 until today.

I should imagine you'll see some soon anyway given that height and those temperatures.
We're supposed to have a cold, dry winter, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Our last good season was in 2011, when we had about 4 meters. I remember having to follow one of the snowplows during a blizzard. which made for interesting driving.

It certainly was cold here today and because I was out for a few hours I decided to wear thermals or long johns. These are great things and I might not have worn them in maybe 30 years.

It was 4 degrees f, in Boston today. That is -20 degrees centigrade. It will be the same tomorrow. It was very chilly if you were in a place that the wind was blowing. I actually have a good tolerance but even I could not tolerate sleeping rough in these conditions. There are a lot of homeless people in Boston. Socialists came to power in Massachusetts and the place is ruined. They call this place Taxachusetts.

You see guys here on the sidewalk surrounded by snow and ice all the time. When this cold though the cops are told to scoop them up.

If we are to believe the forecast, then a blizzard is just starting here with about 15 inches of snow and extreme strong winds. Usually these panics end up as just about 6 inches. But schools etc are all closed. We shall see.

I think its all been a hysteria again, nothing as bad as they made out.

People panic buying, schools and colleges closing down, all for nothing it seems.

The beat from the East? lol, more like the wimp from the East.

A light scattering in Roscommon, nothing major. Clear blue skies now.

Make sure you boil the Pot on the Hob with Ballygowan or Tipperary Spring Water;)
I like real Indian yes, spiced with masala. Problem left on have to boil it in a saucepan on the hob. Less convenient than the tea bag. Is that the correct way to make loose leaf tea?
