RE: Brendan Keenan's "Bleak Omens" for Europe!

So much "Diversity" People are terrified to come out & spend into the Economy...

Clouds over German economy as business confidence hits 11-month low

The outlook for the German economy, Europe's biggest, clouded over significantly in January as business confidence fell to its lowest level in 11 months, the Ifo economic institute said on Monday.

The Ifo institute's closely-watched business climate index fell by a steeper-than-expected 1.3 points to 107.3 points in January, the lowest level since February 2015, Ifo said in a statement.

Ifo calculates its headline index on the basis of companies' assessments of the current business environment and the outlook for the next six months.

The sub-index measuring current business slipped slightly by 0.3 point to 112.5 points, while the outlook sub-index slumped by 2.2 points to 102.4 points, the institute said.

"Sentiment among German businesses weakened at the beginning of the year," said Ifo chief Hans-Werner Sinn.

"Assessments of the current business situation were scaled back slightly, but remained very good. Business expectations, by contrast, clouded over significantly," Sinn said, calling the survey "an unpleasant surprise for the German economy".

play nice please.

Debate the topic, not attack each other. Destroys the thread and ruins it for others if people want to spend time hurling personal insults.

Why do you hate these poor people so much?
i dont think anyone hates these people, its that most of us can see what these refugees really are, chancers, scammers, economic migrants.

Did you know only 1 in 4 apparently come from Syria, most are from third world countries looking for a better life, and whilst I cant fault anyone looking for a better life as a continent we simple cannot afford to economically or sociably allow this to happen.

Spain's Election Quagmire: What Wall Street Thinks

JP Morgan;- "At first blush, these developments seem to increase significantly the likelihood of a left government. If it transpires, this would be important for Spain.

A left government would aim to reverse some of the fiscal consolidation and structural reforms implemented in recent years. This will likely lead to a conflict with the European Commission.

The macro consequences are hard to gauge, but uncertainty and conflict are likely to weigh on economic performance."

Another post attacking me...
Im not attacking you at all, I just want to know why you dont actually comment on what you post? It looks like a story of merit and yet you just copy and paste without any commentary.

Such a shame, because most people will ignore this and move along, where you could have done your self a bigger favor and created some discussion on what you point is.
