Yes. If you like H.P. Lovecraft you will love him.
I do not love 'craft, but what I have read of Dunsany has been the most original prose I have ever come across, while still coming across as some kind of auncient text translated in to an archaic form of English.

So, I have about 45 books queued up right now but the active ones are as follows:

Flannery O'connor's complete short stories - superb writer. Sadly died young
The Intelligent Investor - Benjamin graham.
The Light of Christ - THomas WHite - excellent breakdown of the RC religion and system of belief
Aquinas - Edward Feser - INtro to the philosphy of Thomas Aquinas
Story of the Irish Race - Seamus MacManus
This is probably the best introduction to St Thomas Aquinas. Anything by Etienne Gilson is usually brilliant.

The best introduction to 'quailass is a decade of preparatory reading from Mesopotamian history, through Chaldaean sorcery, Aegyptian literature, Jewry, Homer & the early poets, Platotle, Stoicism, Avesta, Hellenism & the relevant philology & grammar, but why should you need to learn this?

christians, generally speaking, seem like group of hucksterish conformists

history does not exist, aside from in your heart
