Scott was a very intense geezer!
He deserves full credit for taking the material seriously and giving his all as an actor to the role, many actors of his pedigree would have shown scorn (horror movies tend to be treated with scorn) and a half hearted sneering attempt (Brando for instance).

Superb movie, George C a brilliant actor usually was even better in this.
Very disturbing movie and almost as good as the first movie
Its a long time since I seen it but I remember thinking it was shyte. First one was a classic though.

Yes, he was a consummate professional.
